If you are a Seafood Lover you will love the food and atmosphere of the Quay Four Tavern located at the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town South Africa. When we visited Cape Town we were lucky enough to stay at the Table Bay Hotel located within the V&A Waterfront complex in Cape Town Harbour a neighborhood offering a unique variety of dinning, shopping and entrainment options. Being in the harbour meant that we had a wide variety of choices toto enjoy a breakfast, lunch or dinner within easy and safe walking distance from our hotel. Our favorite go to place for seafood lunch or dinner quickly became the Quay Four Restaurant located right next to the sea at the V&A Waterfront.
Some of the dishes we chose to eat from the Quay Four Tavern Menu included:
- 1 kilogram of Prawns, served with fries, rice or side salad and your choice of lemon butter, garlic or chilli sauce.
- Fish & Chips, deep fried hake fillet in Quay Four´s secret batter served with tartar sauce and a choice of fries, rice or salad.
- Calamari Strips, calamari strips, deep fries, served with tartar sauce, fries and salad.
- Hake and Calamari Full portion, full portion hake, dep fried in Quay Four Restaurant´s secret batter with fried calamari rings, tartar sauce & a choice of fries, rice or side salad.
- Grilled baby Calamari, baby calamari tossed in Cajun spices with a choice of fries, rice or salad, grilled with a lemon & garlic butter sauce.
Drinks for meals includes Durbanville Hills White Wine, a Graca Rosé Wine, Aperol Spritz Cocktails and Sparkling Water.
Quay Four Tavern is a must visit seafood restaurant for both tourists and locals visiting the V&A Waterfront i Cape Town! Being an ex-Capetonian Maxi (one of the team members of this RU-vid Channel) can assure you all that when he lived in Cape Town he was a regular at this iconic restaurant / tavern / bar!
