My wife and I have the regular one and it's fantastic. We bought it for only £10 uk. Your video is beautifully illustrated and edited. You are a credit to youtube dear friend. Much love and light from Bonnie Scotland 🏴. Paul. ❤😊
@dejapex1 You're most welcome! It was my pleasure really 😊 And thank you so much for your kind comment, I'm really glad that you liked this comparison video 😊
Really great, helpful video (i've ordered the f&b version!). I have to say thank you for your narration too, so clear and easy to understand, and pleasant to listen to! Thank you :-) p.s. adorable overnight set up in your fresh and black!
Aww thank you so much Drew! Really appreciate your lovely comment! I'm really glad that I could help you out with your decision, and that you liked the narration 😊 Hope you like the F&B as much as I do! The overnight set up definitely makes it a lot more cozy hehe I'm glad you like it!
@@CampingGuidance You're so welcome =-] I went ahead and got the f&b 3 person and its amazing, I can't believe how easy it is to set up and how roomy it is, It feels like a mansion! I'm totally addicted to your guides now haha. I've bought a Quechua 65cm self inflating mattress, you didn't review it but your guide did give me an idea of what might work for me!!
@@theseus_lavender Thanks for the update Drew! 😊 And for watching my guides too, it means so much! And yay I'm really glad that you liked the f&b 3 person tent! It definitely is super easy to set up + roomy like you said 😊 Oooh and let me know how the Quechua mattress works out for you! If it's good, I'll put it on my to-buy-list for the future 😊
@@CampingGuidance hey I got the quechua mattress today (as well as the camping pillow & their folding chair - both excellent). The mattress is great, so easy to inflate, gives 4.5cm of depth and I found it very comfortable! I think i will have to set everything up in my lounge and test it out before I can get out camping (I don't have a garden!). The one I bought is titled 'SELF-INFLATING CAMPING MATTRESS COMFORT 65 CM 1 PERSON' and cost me £39.99 gbp I think it was very good value. OOh, the zip system is has is smart for putting two together AND for packing away!
@@theseus_lavender Thank you so much for updating me Drew! I really appreciate it 😊 It's definitely a great idea to try everything out first before going camping, and I think self-inflating mats take longer to inflate the first time around. And yes the zip system definitely is a smart idea! I'll keep this gear in mind when I update my videos in the future 😊 Happy camping! Hope you enjoy all the new gear 😊
I’m about to plan a 2 week camping trip in the summer (mid to late July) and I’ve seen a lot of your comparison Videos and Reviews. I think I’ll go with the Fresh&Black Tent for the extra Ventilation and Heat protection. I’ll Get the 3 Person Tent for 2 People so we got some extra room and I think it’ll be Fine in Most weather we might encounter (hopefully no flooding of gardens ;)
@Relaxed Racer Thank you for your comment and for watching so many of my videos! It means a lot 😊 And the Fresh and Black is definitely a great pick, and the 3P is pretty good for 2 people! And don't worry about the flooding cos all the seams come taped, and if they're brand new they should be able to hold water out just fine 😊 Mine is super damn old and worn that's why there was a little bit of leaking haha
@camper ph You're most welcome! And thank you for your question and comment 😊 And nope my regular tent was just fine actually! I don't know how Decathlon creates the fresh and black fabric, but I think that's what cracks and starts fading away for some reason.
I from Dubai and have Coleman but couldn’t find rainfly for my tent here and in morning the dew seeps in through the tent window seams. Most people have recommended the Fresh and Black as I don’t want to put awning and instead have tent which can handle the extreme morning dew. What would be your recommendations? Also to add winter is her so really cold in desert so any water in the tent makes it worst hence was thinking to go traditional canvas tent as they are durable any suggestions ?
Hey! Hmm I've never had to deal with extreme morning dew, but I think to deal with this, you'd need better ventilation. I found the Fresh and Black to have pretty good ventilation! Much better than the regular 2 seconds, so I'd not recommend that. I think the Fresh and Black ventilation is better than Coleman's too. Are there any other tents you're considering?
I spotted some cracks in the dark sunproof layer in the fresh and black tent,(3:12) is this a shadow or actual cracks that appear after a lot of use? Thanks in advance!
Hi there Skye, thanks for your question! Those are actual cracks that started to appear after many years of use. I talk more about the extent of the damage in one part of my Fresh and Black review :)
Hi William! Thanks for the question. I think I left a note at the beginning of the video saying that I wear a mask only because I'm camera-shy and I preferred not to have my face in the videos, not because of anything else. I've since moved away from it in all my latest videos 😊 Hope this clarifies!
Hi Caesar! So sorry about the mask, I left a note at the beginning of the video to clarify that it’s only because I’m camera shy, and nothing else. Hope this clarifies! 😊
