Is that the "Purple Special" 😁 How about "Purple Rain" then ? Fun aside, you played great. Because of Brian May I bought and played my first Guitar over 30 years ago.
Thank you! I used a software called amplitube 5 for the amps and effects, the only physical effect in the chain is a treble booster which goes between the guitar and the audio interface!
@@Teo16788 really good. To be precise, this uses a Tonex amp model with amplitube cabs and effects. If you've got Tonex (even the free version should work) it's the 71' AC30 model
Hi there! I'd really love to, but I'm afraid I didn't use any tabs and learned by ear. My version is based on many live versions by Brian through the years, so the only way I can offer is for you to slow down the video through youtube and learn slowly!
Who wants to...etc etc, when etc etc...?)
@@merlinthomi yeahhh ... they do earn their money, I'll give them that. I've been looking at a Super, would you say this cost a little more or a lot more than that?
@@BD12 It's more than that, I think between the 3000-3500 mark. But it a proper replica of the red special, apart from the top and the colour. The super has some compromises, like the finish on the fretboard and the tremolo bridge which is slightly different. If you're looking for a good guitar which is "in the ballpark", go for the super. If accuracy to the original design is more your thing, I'd look for a luthier! This one was made by Belben guitars, Loxley and Dansan guitars are also very good!
