Of course i always generally liked Queen, and I adored Adam as a person on American Idol though i never truly got into his voice, and then my friend took me to their concert in Philly and I fell in absolute love with both of them! I am just blown away by them in every way
"And it all started in the most unlikely of places." Exactly, that's the point. I wish haters who whine about him being from American Idol could get that.
I kinda get wat Brian saying with Adam having a more rock type voice but however I still say there is no way to compare as both singers respectively are brilliant.
Love this interview & the affection & respect that these magnificent men have for each other. It still makes me smile every time I view it. So proud of Adam.
Adam more than fills Freddie's shoes! He wears the Queen crown well. The show is outstanding! I saw them twice and Queen fans were amazed and cheering ! funbunn40
Freddie is one of a kind for facts and his legacy is globally well known but adam is doing great job filling his place and he just fit in by doing his own way and let the show go on
Vocally no (Adam has a higher range, better vibrato, etc), but Freddy is a part of the original group and wrote the songs with his band so I can respect that. Those songs are more personal to him so I can see how people think he's better.
No need to keep comparing... Freddie is long gone. Adam Lambert is phenomenal and he is not trying to be Freddie. Adam is being himself and is celebrating Freddie and keeping the memory of him and Queen alive. Let's be happy that Queen's iconic songs are still heard and acclaimed to this day onstage and beyond. Queen forever....
Brian May and Roger Taylor are will always be QUEEN. Adam Lambert has been QUEEN'S frontman for over 10years, therefore is now FOREVER PART OF QUEEN'S HISTORY and LEGACY.
