Pardon me if i sound stupid but why is is Queen + Adam Lambert? Shouldn't it just be Queen? Adam has been singing with them since 2011 if i'm not mistaken
They don't want to replace Freddie. Simple. Queen is Brian, John, Freddie and Roger. Lambert is only there to let Brian and Roger still tour and so people can listen to some of the best songs ever.

I don’t get it. Clearly, Adam Lambert can hit all the notes, and he seems to be a likable guy, but...the tone of his voice goes through me like a fucking drill bit. But Im clearly in the minority on this one, as Queen once again...is a tour de force.
Many vocal coaches have said Adam has beautiful tone and texture to his voice and I agree wholeheartedly. Millions must love his tone because millions love his singing with Queen. You are correct in saying you are in the minority, the vast minority.
Vocal coaches cant coach tone or texture, thats subjective information. Hitting the notes...is objective, and can be taught and “coached”. Tone cannot, neither can “texture”, whatever THAT is. Therefore, I don’t care what a vocal coach says or thinks about tone and texture. Its subjective. Like taste. I don’t prefer his nasal-shrill-like tone.
@@jasheton I never said they coached Adam’s tone or texture, I said they commented on how beautiful it was. In this performance there is nothing nasal nor shrill in his voice. I hear strong chest resonance and his powerful high range. He is a tenor and belts high notes.....because he can. There is a difference between that and being shrill, he always maintains beautiful tone while belting. He is a very accomplished vocalist who has worked on his voice for many years until he has mastered it. In terms of sheer vocal ability and skill, Adam Lambert has a quality of voice that I don’t believe Freddie even possessed. My “subjective” opinion.
I love it. Adam puts more campiness and fun into it and engages the audience in the performance. I honestly think that Freddie would have loved what Adam came up with.
Adam sings many Queen songs better than Freddie to be honest. And he’s been doing it successfully for 9 years. Queen has been reborn and is in very able hands with Adam Lambert. They are more popular than ever before.
@@carolhagerty4288 I have to disagree. Freddie's range was unsurpassed. And it is hardly reborn just going over the old songs. With Adam Lambert singing it is more like a tribute band. Ever wondered why John Deacon walked away. And I don't think they are any more popular now than before. Just more people around than there were years ago. And before this turns into something it shouldn't, this is my opinion. I don't think any song Freddie sang with Queen or solo can be bettered.
@@davidamos9259 They are more popular. That’s a fact. More people being around makes no sense, it’s laughable. They sell out stadiums and arenas in minutes. They have actually accomplished the biggest comeback as a band in rock history. That is the definition of reborn for me. Why does Adam make it a tribute band when he sings with original members who are actually more “original” than Freddie was? And they play the songs they are known for, the songs people love and want to hear, like most bands do. They also go through John for approval on certain things they do and he has given it and certainly gotten his fair share of profits. He remains quite involved on the business end. He approved and was accepting of Adam coming on board btw. Anyway, I just need to say that I’m so tired of the relentless, incessant, constant and never ending criticism of Adam who simply accepted a job to sing with Queen and is an incredible talent with a phenomenal voice. Why do some feel so threatened by that? He loves performing these songs, he’s happy bringing them to live audiences again and we should be happy and grateful to him and Queen that we are able to hear them again and done so exceptionally well. Adam Lambert truly is a phenomenal vocalist. Best we have today.
Adam will do it his way just as Freddie did it his way. Have you seen videos of Freddie and his “costumes” on stage? Why is everything Freddie did or wore OK, and anything Adam does or wears criticized? It’s absolute nonsense and hypocritical.

Adam Lambert has been the best gift Queen has ever been given since Freddie passed. He is their second incredible frontman. They are as popular as they ever were before. Why? Because they found Adam Lambert. And millions have grown to love him.
I lost count on how many QAL videos I’ve seen you trolling. Freddie sang the way he could, Adam sings the way he can and he belts.....because he can. Singers use what they have and Adam has it.
