Yah, it's strange how Roger wrote it for his kids but then Freddie took the song so the band could release it on an album. Knowing Freddie had aids when the song came out made it seem like it was about dieing but it's only about growing up
Sì ed è stato bellissimo far vedere foto e brevi video di quando erano proprio I QUEEN!!! Bella anche l interpretazione di Roger... complimentissimi!❤️
He indeed has, I like his roughness. But man, ciggaretts didn't make it better for him :c I wonder if he still smokes xd I miss his marmaid screams, he was mind-blowing in 70'
He fucked off after Freddie's death. If only he stayed... Little did he know the significance Queen has today with a much younger audience, especially after having a band biopic (although it centred heavily around Freddie). I wish he'd do a one-off concert with them.
I wish that, John Deacon was there, with Brian May, Roger Taylor and Roger Taylor's son, Rufus. Sadly, John Deacon retired, after the death of Freddie Mercury. He is a major shareholder, in Queen's music, and John Deacon was affected by the death of Freddie Mercury, in a big way. He lost his best friend, and big brother, when Freddie Mercury died.
Mathew J Kalapura Thank you for the information, I wouldn’t have known who it was. Between that and them showing the photos of each of them, it made a huge knot in my throat.
The members of Queen meant so much to each of them, especially Freddie, who had some tough times growing up which he really did not want to talk about with the press in interviews.
The people who disliked this were crying so hard that they missed the like button and hit the dislike button instead because they couldn't see with their tears
@@donnawood3505 very true, and I have read so much nastiness for Dr. May and Roger re their jealousy towards Freddie and how they are making money off Adam now. Am happy to see them still going strong with Adam.
I love this song, and how true it is, it brings tears to my eyes, as I am as old as Roger, and Brian, and completely understand what Roger was trying to say when he wrote this song. I still love Roger's raspy voice, he still looks great as so does Brian, Long may Queen play on, and if we ever get out of this virus we are in, may they return to touring, everyone needs it
That is so beautiful. Seeing Freddie and Deaky makes me cry. Weve grown up with them (im 70) and the love is still there. And Rogers voice always gets me emotional. How blessed we are to still have their music😥💕💕
We all love Freddie Mercury, Brian May, Roger Taylor, and John Deacon, Queen. They are legendary, even without Freddie Mercury, and John Deacon. They are still family, after 50 years.
Yep a cute grandfather with a great gravelly rock n roll voice. I had no.idea his voice was so good. Roger and Brian are an i inspiration to all of us over 60. May you two live forever
Roger is ALWAYS on key, harmonious in every role he takes on. I love his rare solos. The Queen men are so creative and talented. What savory dishes they serve!
i can understand and respect why John left. kudos to roger and brian for being able to do this because in that position, i don't think i'd ever make it through the song without breaking down.
Roger has a wonderful voice! ❤ It's so nice to see him singing instead of playing the drums! Brian, roger and Adam have continued the legacy that is queen ❤❤
Sometimes I get to feelin' I was back in the old days, long ago When we were kids, when we were young Things seemed so perfect, you know The days were endless, we were crazy, we were young The sun was always shinin' We just lived for fun Sometimes it seems like lately I just don't know The rest of my life's been just a show Those were the days of our lives The bad things in life were so few Those days are all gone now, but one thing is true When I look, and I find, I still love you You can't turn back the clock, you can't turn back the tide Ain't that a shame Ooh, I'd like to go back one time on a roller coaster ride When life was just a game No use in sitting and thinkin' on what you did When you can lay back and enjoy it through your kids Sometimes it seems like lately I just don't know Better sit back and go with the flow 'Cause these are the days of our lives They've flown in the swiftness of time These days are all gone now, but some things remain When I look, and I find, no change Those were the days of our lives, yeah The bad things in life were so few Those days are all gone now, but one thing's still true When I look, and I find I still love you I still love you
Que buena voz Roger. No hay duda de que como Queen no habrá otra banda que se le parezca.. todos son grandes músicos y cantantes.. cada uno es una caja de sorpresas...
I love that Brian is one of those few guitarist that respects the integrity of his own solos. He plays them almost identical to the original recording.
You are don`t need another solo. Taylor is the best. May is a genius.. Plz keep alive. You are the best. God bless you all. From Russia with greetings.
During Brian’s always amazing solo….it’s so cool to see Roger up there next to his son. Wow. The whole thing is so powerful. What a dedication to Queen with FREDDIE. 👏🏻👏🏻
may be an unpopular opinion but i think he sings it better. He seems to have more passion. the same with too much love, i think brian sings it better than freddie. may just be because its their songs about their lives
Looove Roger’s wonderful voice, and Brian’s guitar here literally gave me goosebumps, such beautiful tone and lyrical melody. They truly are the very top of musicianship. May they continue doing what they love as long as possible! 🙏🏻
what can you say about this utterly emotionally moving song I know it's written by roger reflecting back on his Life but when it was released as band recording with Freddie singing it absolutely took on a whole New meaning at that point Freddie was really ill to see him singing this absolutely beautiful haunting song lyrically musically and emotionally it's takes on a whole new meaning this track and too much love will kill you. Mother love are the most emotionally songs ever written they absolutely get me every single time if you listen to these songs And are not emotionally moved inside then there is something wrong with you
Not complicated, but this song has one of the best solos I've ever heard. It's just perfect. And I've played guitar for a VERY long time. A great solo takes you from the song on a little (or long) journey, bringing you back nicely and happier.
Magnificent. An incredible and loyal partner to incomparable performer Freddie Mercury for his last song about looking back on life, paired here by its incomparable composer and lyricist Roger Taylor for his song about his family and kids. Utterly exquisite, thanks also to the outcries and understanding rendered by the genius of Brian May.
