So pleased that Brian & Roger asked Adam to front Queen. He has one of the best rock voices I have heard in the past 50 years. Though no one could ever replace Freddie, Adam does the songs real justice with his stunning voice. Long may they continue.
Brian and Roger are not the Queen... Queen: John Deacon, Freddie Mercury, Brian May, Roger Taylor. That's right! This current formation is not a Queen. And AL is a tasteless, extremely primitive clown. They are not worthy of the Queen's legacy!

Adam is doing a great job with a very challenging situation. It's a good thing he has a lot of talent because a lesser person couldn't handle the delicate balance of respecting and delivering Mercury's legacy and yet bringing his talent and personality to the show as well.
Addicted to Adam, I am addicted too. I am 73, and feel like an adolescent...He has been my medicine during this years...and feel great. I was an opera fan, I was raised by an opera singer, (my father), but now I have discovered the world I should have lived 50 years ago...thanks for your videos...
One of the better interviews. And you'll not be disappointed if you attend the show because they are all professionals and it's a tight band. Also I saw Queen with Freddie back in 1982 and two years ago I saw QAL here in Vancouver, and it was fabulous! As Adam says here, the audience get totally on board when they realize not only is he a talent to reckon with but he has a sweet genuine way with the audience.
Just came across this channel, really like Adam, it has taken awhile for me to accept him. I appreciate that Adam is Adam, and together with Queen are keeping their music alive and fresh. WOW - in my 70's, it thrills me to know the music continues.
Are you joking ? Queen will always be remembered and will NEVER DIE. OK maybe they wouldn't be touring but the movie would still help to bring in new fans and who knows maybe they would have found someone Else instead of lambert . i just think about how many albums and songs they would have made it freddie was still alive
I could never say I was, or am, a fan of anybody in Freddie’s spot. He is still the GOAT. Now I force myself lol to think about how Freddie is watching this, and he wanted his music to live on & not be boring in his words. The proof truly are in the fans, and sold out shows. Adam has taken this to his level, and they still show Freddie onscreen and holograms, which Adam respects, and they keep his spirit alive. (It’s not JUST out of respect, as some say). Fact; Freddie with Queen lead them to the top. Now they keep it going. I’ve always loved Adam’s voice. B, R & Spike chose to keep it moving, and they truly couldn’t have picked a better man for their lead singer. Heck I like him a LOT more than BM. I’m a dedicated FM fan, however I admit that credit is given to who it is due now; Mr. Adam Lambert. God bless! Freddie is proud; no doubt.
I have seen the original Queen , the Paul Roger’s concert . I have seen two with Adam Lambert, I wanted him with Queen the moment I saw him on American idol, he is class and very very sexy.
I’ve been saying this for almost 10 years and I’ll keep saying it - I believe Freddie brought Adam to Brian and Roger and said “Darlings, this is The One”.

Not only that we lost Friday we lost John too I said it in another comment but I guess they don't understand he's got a pretty good voice he doesn't have the sound of Queen I hope you people understand what I'm trying to say these other people didn't understand the sound isn't there and they all said he's trying not to be Freddy well then stop wearing a crown on your head

@@alexjohnston8889 P.R is a rock/ blues singer and flat and monotonous. Adam's solo music is a bit of everything but yes mainly pop/ funk. And he can sing everything to perfection. Rock/ metal / operatic mix is his speciality. Sorry facts can't relate to your taste.
Agree that Paul almost destroy the band, they were doing concerts is small arenas and they never sold out. I remember reading they went to a concert in Rio de Janeiro, and the few fans that attend were bored and left the little arena. It was a colossal failure. When they went with Adam to Rock in Rio in 2015 they sold the 85 000 tickets in two hours. And the fans loved Adam, if you watch the whole concert they were chanting Adams name all the concert. The brazilian fans in tv, because it was televised, gave Adam a 95% approval. I think Adam achieve the imposible, without replacing FM, he gave the band a good name again and today is the biggest band of the world.
Pop is one of music main genre with several sub categories..synth pop progressive pop, soul, country pop, etc .and Freddie composed pop songs just like Sir Elton John, George Michael etc.@@alexjohnston8889

Not Adam, he is brilliant, healthy, authentic, a good example for youth, despite his sexual preference... His talent is in his throat, not in his pinus....
@@kpichemon3137 Queen was NEVER "Freddie's band"....he was an EQUAL member of the band....they ALL contributed to the music...the music was as much Brian's, Roger's and John's as it was Freddie's. In fact, Brian and Roger were the founding members...and hired Freddie and John later. It was the musical geniuses of those FOUR that wove the fabric of Queen's incredible catalogue of hits....together. And yes, Adam is a guest vocalist...he also says that. He takes nothing from Mercury's legacy. And Brian and Roger have said they will tour with no other than Adam. Without Adam, there would be no Queen to tour and delight people all over the world. Queen is more successful now than when Freddie was alive. Brian and Roger call Adam "a gift from God" because he is the only vocalist that can easily...and brilliantly...sing the entire Queen catalogue of music, and is a fabulous performer as well.
Adam with Queen he has made 6 tours with 218 shows totally sold in 42 countries before 4 million people, a # 1 album in various countries, a documentary that is the # 6 most watched movie on Netflix in the world, winner of the best band in rock in the world. So Adam Lambert is a winner and you are just a looser that Queen and Adam don't need, their shows sell out in minutes.
Adam is a better singer than Freddie, much more handsome. Freddies life was not a good example for youth. Adam is a healthy, handsome, intelligent, with a clean life Freddie is unique but not better...
