Can you believe their Live versions are even better than their studio ones. The Wembley concert is absolutely phenomenal. Freddie is at his charismatic best, so you really want to check out this song at Wembley.

Go ahead - jump to Live Aid 1985 for that thrill. Tight arrangements of songs (global benefit concert for faminine relief in Africa) that make you hungry for more. Then you gotta at least peek at some early pivotal Queen, starting with "In the Lap of the Gods" LIVE at the Rainbow 1974. Artistry across all genres all the time over the years - - SO MUCH in between. If your feeling it, they have a song/style for it. Each band member guided by his own star, all become songwriters and share the hits. Freddie is a firecracker but he's a powder keg with his band mates.

Great reaction! There are so, so many Queen songs that people have heard on the radio, in movies, used in advertising, or at sporting events that they did not know were by Queen. Now you need to react to this same song, “Another One Bites the Dust, from their 1986 live show at Wembley. Believe me, you will love it! 🔥👑🔥👑🔥

They performed this at their Wembley concert in '86. Freddie is known as the "Persian Popinjay" because of the way he struts onstage.

They - all 4 band members - write the songs they sing. All 4 not only in the Rock and Roll hall of fame, but individually in the Song Writer's hall of fame as well. This one is written by John, the bass player

And it opened up South America for western rock music . Queen was the first band ever to make a stadium tour in South America . For example Queen drew a crowd of 300.000 in Argentine at a single consert and 2 times 125.000 in Brasil . All because of Another one bites the dust .....

You have to check out the Wembley 1986 version of this song, it's a slightly quicker tempo and the way Freddie ad libs and involves the crowd in it adds a whole new dimension to it.

I listened to and loved this song for months b4 I found out it was Queen. Just heard it on the car radio alot back in the day..their songs were all so unique!!! And all great.

Everyone knows Queen. They just don’t know they do. Bohemian Rhapsody and We Are the Champions by Freddie, We Will Rock You by Dr. Brian May, Another One Bites the Dust by John Deacon, Radio GaGa by Roger May (Lady GaGa saw Freddie perform this at live aid 1986 and adopted the GaGa!) Such an eclectic band.

John Deacon wanted Roger Taylor to make his drums sound as dull as possible. To get that thud sound. So he packed them with blankets. The opposite of what he normally did. John is not only playing the bass. But he is playing the rhythm guitar in the studio version not Brian. On the live performances Brian said that was the hardest part to play. John was Queens secret weapon. Quiet and unassuming. But he came up with some of Queens best songs. He still lives in Putney, London with his wife Veronica. They have been married for 45 years.

Another One Bites the Dust by Queen was written by the bass player John Duncan who left the band after Freddie Mercury died and never contacted anyone from the band

I feel the same as you. However I think I knew that Queen did this song, before I watched Bohemian Rhapsody with my teenage kids. I didn’t know that they did Crazy Little Thing Called Love. And I thought I was a “music” person, too.

I grew up with this 8-track of this album in my house. Probably the only Rock and Roll "album" my mom had. This was THE song off the album. I probably should relisten to The Game. Cause I'm drawing a blank of other songs on that album. **google search** Crazy Little Thing. I'm an idiot. Still no headphones... I'm going to find the video DAMN IT where you have em' for the first time. Still love your work, and honesty. I'm enjoying this trek tonight.

talent- 4 members, all 4 r songwriters n 3 can sing lead vocals, top heavy, it did lead 2 creative differences n disharmony at times. happens alot 2 v big bands, beatles had v same problem ( nice problem 2 have- 2 much talent in 1 band haha). great rythem section on vis track. sry mate cant hear wat ur saying whn v musics playn.
