Hi everyone - I made this video 12 years ago when I was in middle school, just messing around on my laptop, and I thought it’d be fun to add my own commentary to the mix of one of my favorite songs. (Since I was so young when I made this, I hope my commentary doesn’t offend or upset anyone.) Over a decade later, I just remembered this video, and I’m so happy to see that it’s brought people so much joy and nostalgia. Thank you all for commenting your thoughts and stories and most of all for sharing the love of this masterpiece. I appreciate you being here with me :)
@@ecssell4 Wow, while listening to some very old song lyric videos, (ex. 7-12 years ago lyric videos) I never encountered a creator of the channel to comment to her old video, as in what! today? I never expected it. Btw I just also finished very old lyric video called "Somebody that I used to know" (because my habit was listening to very old songs that I remember in my childhood these past few days until now) and then followed by this. Thank you for making this video, this bring back memories! I hope you're doing well now.
The solo performance that I just performed, including; dancing, voice changes and acting, was immaculate. I'm pretty sure my bathroom mirror is very impressed.
Freddy credits a demonic being channeling the music and words....a no brainer as Satan was the main praise leader in heaven in charge of music before his pride got in the way.
*"I dont wanna die, sometimes i wish i'd never been born at all"* I love this part After a year of commenting this i will adress some things 1- I love this part bc of 2 reasons: - in the moment i wrote the comment i was feeling related with the lyrics - i love every part of the song but that part just hits different yk? 2- Im not faking something, like i said before, when i wrote the comment i was feeling so related to the lyrics, i wasnt faking anything at all, but now i feel a little better thanks to therapy and stuff. So if u're gonna hate on this pls dont answer and stfu and let me be, thanks.
I love how the world just collectively agrees that Queen is one of the best and most influential bands in the world. I've literally *never* heard anyone say a bad word about them. Queen are legendary.

Bohemian Rhapsody will be played 100 years from now and will forever be appreciated as genius. Thank you, Freddie and Queen, for the music. Rest in peace.
You forgot about the other 4 types The ones who sing the high part WELL The ones who sing the low part WELL The ones who sing both WELL And lastly: FREDDIE MERCURY
For some reason I occasionally imagine myself singing this on stage w/ a bunch of RU-vidrs (I have a habit of singing out of nowhere & in the shower) also I made a Baby Einstein-like version of this song if anyone wants to check it out (just sayin, not asking for clout)
I think it’s metaphorical so we’re all good. He tells this to his mother cos the person he killed is his future self (which after raising someone for their entire life would distress you, but you’d still want to know) knowing that because of poverty (hence referring to one self as a poor boy) there’s no point in even trying to rise above the situation because there’s little hope. “will you let me go” is addressing the government and the rich that oppress the poor to essentially make them trapped in their living situations with no way out. Towards the end you hear the words repeated “nothing really matters” which is basically one using nihilism to come to terms with how they’re never going to escape the shackles that poverty has imposed on them, afterall no one takes their money with them to the afterlife (if you believe in it). Not to be too political or anything😂 Also there’s probably multiple meanings of the song, my interpretation is really watered down.
I don't know whats more chilling, from 1:50 to 2:20, he wrote this song before he was HIV/AIDS positive. And when you think about those lyrics, it hits more deep. :(
Infloun I think he knew he will end up with it,,, maybe he was already infected and kept it very private, he may have seek treatment and took cocktail and unfortunately his life style was not the best combination and thing got out of control. This song is very clear, he said it all in it.... HIV/AIDS was still consider a death sentence
The more I listen to BH, the more I realize what a masterpiece Freddie wrote. My God, the lyrics, the melody, the mix of different music genres just blow my mind.
Is this the real life? Is this just fantasy? Caught in a landside, No escape from reality Open your eyes, Look up to the skies and see, I'm just a poor boy, I need no sympathy, Because I'm easy come, easy go, Little high, little low, Any way the wind blows doesn't really matter to Me, to me Mamaaa, Just killed a man, Put a gun against his head, pulled my trigger, Now he's dead Mamaaa, life had just begun, But now I've gone and thrown it all away Mama, oooh, Didn't mean to make you cry, If I'm not back again this time tomorrow, Carry on, carry on as if nothing really matters Too late, my time has come, Sends shivers down my spine, body's aching all The time Goodbye, everybody, I've got to go, Gotta leave you all behind and face the truth Mama, oooh I don't want to die, I sometimes wish I'd never been born at all. I see a little silhouetto of a man, Scaramouch, Scaramouch, will you do the Fandango! Thunderbolts and lightning, very, very frightening me Galileo, Galileo Galileo, Galileo Galileo, Figaro - magnificoo I'm just a poor boy nobody loves me He's just a poor boy from a poor family, Spare him his life from this monstrosity Easy come, easy go, will you let me go Bismillah! No, we will not let you go (Let him go!) Bismillah! We will not let you go (Let him go!) Bismillah! We will not let you go (Let me go) Will not let you go (Let me go)(Never) Never let you go (Let me go) (Never) let you go (Let me go) Ah No, no, no, no, no, no, no Oh mama mia, mama mia, mama mia, let me go Beelzebub has a devil put aside for me, for me, For meee So you think you can stop me and spit in my eye So you think you can love me and leave me to die Oh, baby, can't do this to me, baby, Just gotta get out, just gotta get right outta here Nothing really matters, Anyone can see, Nothing really matters, Nothing really matters to me Any way the wind blows... it's not that sad- of course when freddie died, it was horrible. but that part doesn't make me sad even if you consider the fact that he died not too long after creating the song.
Scaramouche's whole lore is based off of this 😭😭 edit: THEY RELEASED HIM ON THE SAME DATE THE SONG WAS RELEASED HELP lil man is finally gonna do the fandango
@@floriansanial2694 not really, scaramouche or Scaramuccia as well as every other harbinger is based on characters from the Italian comedy Comedio Dell’arte
Queen is officially the first ever band to make me feel nostalgic about a time I wasn't alive in. I read comments of others saying it on other music, but I couldn't understand why people would feel nostalgic about such a thing, but I finally understand. Thank you Queen for making such unique, amazing music that even kids like me can still enjoy today. I hope Freddie can see what him and his band have done for the world, i'm sure he's proud!
I feel you. My mom loves her older music and I have come love it too! Queen is by far my favorite band following journey the Beatles and poison. I feel this song is very different including rock and opera. Genuinely a Master piece. (Not that it’s important but I’m 12 and listening ti Queen and has been my fav band since I was 8) Edit: have not has
Ariana Grande: I have the higest voice Mariah Carey: no i do Roger: .. Hold my Galileo. Edit: I was unsure about other people doing this too. Mine may not be original but hating on people is never the answer! 😙 -Ang
There are many classical musics that stood the test of time and still popular today. Bohemian Rhapsody will be listened to even after 200 years i'm sure of it
I like how it switches between atleast 5 Genres and 8 Key changes, it gives it a charm that seems different from a lot of music. This is why Queen is my favorite band.
My buddy would listen to this song. I used to sing alongside him, and our bond was strong. Sadly, as they say, good times never last. He passed away and I miss him so much. In a crowd of a million people, you could see his glowing face among the crowds. He loved his friends and his family, but depression has no mercy. I almost feel as if he is singing this song to everyone he knew. I love you buddy. I will always bring your legacy with me, and until then, I'll be sure to see you on the other side. I love you bud.
No problem man I know how sad it is to have a depressed buddy my uncle was depressed but made it out and It makes me sad that your buddy didn't make it out of the harsh life of depression it makes me sad to hear suicide stories
@Comic Creator i follow "tribal people try" here on RU-vid and they say that every time before they eat something and its translated as "in the name of God"..and if u use that translation...it fits
@@marquesekj Bismillah is a prayer term for Muslims, just like Allahu-Akbar. It's also sometimes used as a term to praise something, such as food. Kinda like saying "Oh, the taste is heavenly".
Isn’t it funny how all of the comments are about quarantine, just imagine the people seeing this in 10 years and seeing our perspective of this global pandemic
@@TheeMayhem23 I am no expert on that matter since I am no die-hard Queen's fan but as far as Wikipedia is correct it says Roger. Why is it wrong though? Could you fill me in?
This song gives me so many mixed emotions 0:00 neutral 0:48 sad 3:03 makes me wanna start dancing in a dramatic way 4:08 energized and exited 5:07 sad again
I’ve have seen a lot of comments about the fact that there is no auto tune, and part of the lack of it in the song is a secret, so listen closely. Auto tune was invented in 1997 and this was made before that so it didn’t exist during the songs creation lol
I hope y’all are doing okay, and that if your aren’t doing okay, that you’ll realize that it’s okay to not feel okay and that it will get better with time and people who cares about you. I send hugs to you all❤️😊
@@dracomalfoy4679 A Malfoy worried about some muggles' feelings? Now I've seen it all (I'm just kidding thank you for caring you are a wonderful person! You made my day 😊)
When Freddy Mercury says "Mama just killed a man", He Meant " Mama, I Just Killed a Man". He Means that he shot his old-self and is trying to live in the new Freddy Mercury.
Bodies aking all the time: people who took the untested corona vaccine and now have a screwed up body with genetically engineered DNA and brain damage to you chromosome 8, then everyone goes to hell because the vaccine was the mark of the beast just as predicted in Revelation 13: 16-18. Just please don’t get the corona vaccine no matter what even if you have to get thrown in a FEMA Camp and starved to death
Fun fact:If you wear headphones when the “little high, little low” part plays you will hear little high on your left ear and little low on your right ear
