Thanks very much :) After learning from others on youtube i use a flat neutral profile then do eveything in post with grading. It's PP6 ;)

Thanks very much! Yes I've colour graded the video in Premiere with the in-built Lumetri Colour whilst editing 🙂

@@adamredmond3136 oh, I see! Thank you for your answer. I am only beginning into video and I edit in Davinci Resolve and I can't wrap my head around the LOGs and gamuts and grading, so for now I shoot in standard mode in camera and do not color grade. I watched so much tutorials on this and still feel like I need more practice and comparison between different LOGs so that I could find what suits me best. All the best from fellow Sony shooter! 😊

@@ilya.b No worries, i know how you feel as i am still relatively new myself after a year or so :) I found its best to shoot standard clean mode then i just grade it as i would photographs, playing with contrast, colour etc until it looks right. Nothing too fancy! I can recommend channels such as Picture Pulse for tips :)

I am terrified of grading standard profile, I've seen tooooo much videos talking about various LOGs and their specifications, downsides, 8 bit color banding, etc. I thought, if specific LOGs are that bad it can't be that a standard footage is capable of any grading withouth artefacts. I think, I just need to shoot more and be a little bolder, try things. :-) BTW, I tried to shoot a video portrait similar to yours last year and it came out great, I think! Even though I starded shooting in a little bit hars light, I had no ND filter 🙄😮 and did nothing to the footage, except for cuts to the music pretty much. Still love the video, that came out in the end (slow motion makes everything great! 😂). In case you interested, you can find it on my channel (which more like my personal compilation of various things throught the years, not like a real channel I actively run). Again, thank you for your response, I feel like this is the encouragement I needed to finally go out and shoot things! ;-)
