Ahh yes, the Queen Club Sandwich from 1,001 Sandwiches of 1936. So, do we think it is sandwich made for a queen or a club named Queen hmm 🤔 Well, either way, I’m making it. And unlike other sandwiches from this recipe book, this one sounds pretty tasty. Huzzah! Oh, and stick around for a wee blooper at the very end.

If Barry ever comes out with merch, and he should, the 2nd and 3rd slogans on the tees/hats should say "On a piece of buttered bread" and "It does'nt say how much". Of course, we all know what the first slogan will be.

1:53 I find if I make a toast “teepee” rather than lay it flat on a plate it retains its crisp. Otherwise there’s nothing much else to do to keep the crunch. Love this idea for club sandwich though. No more sliced chicken for me.

My instinct would have been to add some sauteed *red pepper, onions and garlic (which, when, sauteing, I use *kikkoman, onion powder, and yes - a little monk fruit). **DIG the blue cheese. -Would have been a little heartier with the chicken portion.

Day 16 of asking Barry to make the sandwich I submitted!~~ I love double/triple decker sandwiches. Bacon was a great choice for a plus up, even if it’s a cheat code. Definitely some tomato could help here too. Cheers Barry!
