He was really the motor of the group. If he walked away when he was well, I believe they would have all folded. His energy and love of music was overwhelming! Just to watch him perform gives the viewer immense energy and positive vibes. There has never been anyone quite like him. Great pianist, artist, songwriter.probably one of the best singer ever, funny, handsome, compassionate, great speaking voice, generous, artistic, what can I say.listen to queen and Freddy every day to motivate me. I am gladI live in Arizona e to have experienced this group. IDO think they loved each other.
Good to see Freddie enjoying himself , laughing having fun with his band mates . He was and still is the BEST Performer in the history of the world. 2/2020 🌹
He's still a Legend. He's still alive in our hearts and in our minds. Miss you Freddie. Thanks a lot for your legacy. A true fan of QUEEN. Friendly from France ❣🎼🎶🎤🎸🎹👍👍👍😀😻😽😻😽🙏🙏🙏
I love the whole. Freddie, so funny, I think a lot of it was a brave face, say something daft (I have a lot of sex) to shut the interviewer up! John is so quiiet and shy too. John and Brian seem to both have a fire about then as in 'get outt', and a brilliant stare. Miss them being all together. Personally I cannot watch them with Adam Lambert... not anything to with his voice it is beautul I just cannot get over the fact not all 4 , without John and Freddie. Still enjoy yourselves giys. I'm sure Freddie would love it.."you can do anything with my music, just don't make me boring" I think you got your Freddie!
I don't care if I'm late to the Queen bandwagon or that the movie is what inspired me to get into Queen, I will forever be a Freddie and Queen fan now. Turns out I've been a fan of their music forever, I just didn't know the songs were by Queen lol! I just got through reading the book "Somebody to Love" and it was great, yet sad to read about Freddie's self-destruction. He was such a funny, kind, generous man but definitely had his demons. RIP Freddie.
Queen died with Freddy and they’ve been living on his legend ever since, the latest incarnation with that hideous Lambert thing is an insult to the legacy of Mr Mercury. Respect to John Deacon for knowing when to walk away.
@Junkyard Dog, I totally agree with your comment. & I also do not like Lambert, he's a dickhead imo that is. (Mind you I've had ppl telling me to "get over it" when ever I've commented that i don't like Lambert) Freddie was a brilliant frontman for Queen, no-one will *ever* come close to our Freddie. He was a once in a lifetime shooting star ★♥♥
Guys, so quick to dismiss 3 of the most talented, creative and intelligent musicians of the era. You don't want to be known as silly groupies when you are, in your excitement, just trying to express amazement and awe for Freddie's talent, etc., do you? The group Queen is exactly that -- so grow up already.
I love Adam; I love Freddie. These feelings are not musically exclusive. I am grateful for Freddie writing, playing, and performing these songs. I am grateful for Adam carrying them forward to a new generation. By the way, EVERY QAL concert, Adam expresses his gratitude, states that he is not replacing Freddie, that he is a fan, and that he respects the opportunity to carry the torch. In interviews, he has said the same. And he is allowing Brian and Roger to carry on what they love into their old age. Do you feel better when you hurl insults and put-downs at Adam? Seriously, do you go about your day feeling like a joyous, well-intentioned man or woman because of what you have said? Because, Karma...
Does anyone know where people get the full videos for these clip compilations of the band just hanging out backstage and stuff? I really want to watch them!
