Late August of 2020, my girlfriend Rebecca and I bring our dog, Trek, along with us for a trip into the Queen Elizabeth Wildlands. We borrow our friends Sportspal canoe and portage it from Head Lake up into Clear Lake, where we meet up with our 2 friends for a couple nights of backcountry camping and fishing. This was Rebecca and Trek's first time portaging through multiple lakes, they loved it and we're ready to get a few more trips under our belts in 2021!
