For all the people saying they saw 8 other people wearing white at Princess Diana’s and Prince Charles wedding, it didn’t matter. Camilla is the one he had an affair with not the others. That’s obviously why they are focusing on her because she was the sneak.
Personally I didn't see others wearing white.. There was a lady in light pastel yellow in front of Camilla and then one in light silvery grey further away and that was it.. There were also pastel peachy pinks and light blues but noone had a proper silvery white like Camilla had. Her dress was the same shade of my cousin's wedding dress. If the colour is sold as a wedding dress color then it's wholly unsuitable!
Nah lol, she married her son to a Young Girl, knowing very Well that He wanted someone Else. It was all about representation with her, obviously that was her Job as head of state, but still, she definitely also Had a Hand in the sad marriage even though the Most blame should of course Go to Charles because He did promise himself in marriage and didnt live up to the promise
@@arpithabenny3459 Because it's better than having Blair, Brown, Cameron or Johnson etc as head of state. We elect dangerous loonies as prime minister, there's no reason to believe we wouldn't do the same with presidents.
It's called toxic... I'm glad my mother and mother in law do not play mean highschool girl messages through outfits with me. Otherwise I wouldn't waste my time spendig it with them to read the weird attacks they send me with hats, shoes, scarfs, or socks, that's absolutly pathetic. Well Dianna was the last person that wasn't born into the royal family to be crowned princess. Not never the recent prince's wives have the title of princess I believe they are duchess instead. Camilla was never given a title and is only queen consort because her husband is now king. Don't at me though I'm not an expert this is just my general understanding I'd love to be corrected if I'm wrong.
@@dealwithit9772 Here I am to correct you, but I do so with love because I wish I didn't know this lmao. Catherine (Kate, William's wife) is the current Princess of Wales, the first to officially hold the title since Diana's death. Additionally, Diana was considered a common born (like Kate) but was born into English nobility. Currently, the only one of the wives who is a Duchess is Meghan, who currently retains the title because the Dukedom was gifted to them by the Queen when they were married, even though they are not working royals. When Diana died, technically Camilla would have become the new Princess of Wales, as that's the title for the spouse of the Heir Apparent, however this was disallowed and her tenure title was the Duchess of Cornwall until Charles became King, making her Queen Consort. As William is now the Heir Apparent, Kate is the first Princess of Wales since Diana and was also common born. :)
@@thewhitejax Sorry i dont have much info about this but why is Camilla the Queen Consort and not the Queen? I mean what is the difference between the 2 titles?
As Princess Diana says “There were three of us in this marriage, so it was a bit crowded” it's so heartbreaking and painful..as a woman it really hits me so hard that I always felt heartache everytime a remember Princess Diana. 😥🙏
@@velagz7131 Yes there was. Charles and Camilla were in a serious relationship that the Queen and other royalty put a stop to. Camilla was not in as high a standing, so he needed to marry another VERY rich person and that is where Diana came in. She was way too young and they never loved each other. So after she was caught cheating (more then once) they devorced. Then 8 years after she died Charles and Camilla got back together and he fought to marry her. The woman he always loved. Sad actually
There were more than three people in that marriage. Diana was responsible for several divorces due to her affairs with married men, and had a four year long affair with James Hewitt who she admitted to being deeply in love with.
How do you know what the queen will wear? I mean, there is an event, the queen will attend, so will maybe 6000 people, just to watch, some will yust be there for work, like journalists or photographers. How do you inform everybody? If I am a journalist, and have to call in sick that day, do I have to send my official "what colour will the queen wear that day" informationcard to my colleague who will cover for me? Or is that a thing for people with a societal rank and you just "have to know your rank" and whom to ask for that information? Does a royal have an official dress-code secretary you can call to ask what they will wear? I just wonder, because I'm from a country were we only hear about our noble(wo)men in hstory classes or in the press, when they pissed in someones bathwater or when they paid a lot of money to buy weapons for some right-wing-kooks, so there is no formal code in regards to those people.
@@catulusinferni8612well the rule specifically applies to the other royals it doesn’t matter if some random person wears the same colour as the queen but if another royal does it its bad since it goes against the unspoken royal rules
Funny it's because Elizabeth wanted Charles to marry a royal and not Camilla & Diana wanted to marry Charles for the throne the wreck happened. Charles & Camilla are the ones that deserve pity. Diana fucked around her share and not for love but over spite, contrary to Charles. But you go pursuing the biggest propaganda of the last century.
And no one else can wear it while she does so Camilla couldn't wear white at her wedding she knew what she was doing stan her for this (●´□`)♡ she was England's royal badass!
@@syamake4190 In some cultures, Thailand and China, white represents death and the bride never, ever wears white; in those countries the wedding gown color of choice is red which represents happiness, wealth and health. White wedding gowns are a no - no in oriental cultures.
For people not understanding: white is rude to wear to someone else’s wedding and camila wore it to Diana’s wedding so the queen did it at camila’s like an absolute boss
Someone else mentioned this in the comments, but if the queen announces that she’ll wear a certain color for a certain day nobody is allowed to wear it on that specific day Making Camila unable to wear white on her own wedding day
This is just not true. Camilla wore grey to Diana’s wedding and she chose to not wear white to her second wedding because white insinuates purity and virginity. Decorum states no bride who is marrying for a second time should wear white. It’s that simple. This wasn’t a dismissal by the queen.
@@10avaaaa83even without the Queen wearing white, she still wouldn't have been allowed to as this was her second marriage. That's also why meghan wearing white made such a big fuss, she was supposed to wear grey
Queen Elizabeth always loved Diana, she bowed in her funeral although she is not allowed to bow someone inferior in title. Also, no one in the royal family can wear the same color as her, so she stands out, she did this on purpose. Love her
@@andrewg.carvill4596 ofc she's the boss but no she's not allowed to do just anything. It's not Queenly to bow to anyone beneath your status. Maybe pick up a book or something before you try to be witty with a comeback.
@@NatzTalk Believe me I wasn't trying to be witty. I was referring to a very ancient tradition of royalty in Christendom (personal humility) to which Queen Elizabeth, almost uniquely among heads of state in the modern world kept, above all in her personal interactions (in which she, great lady that she was, most certainly was 'boss'). Monarchs 'bowing to a beggar' on occasion was part of this royal tradition. It is a statement (in gesture) by a monarch that 'you and I are equal in the sight of God'. If you look up European monarchs who are remembered as exemplars rather than despots or tyrants, you will find 'bowing to beggars', often to the consternation of some nobles who just couldn't understand, in the lives of many of them.
He didn’t attend? I didn’t realize that. It also looks like Elizabeth didn’t allow Camilla to wear white to her wedding but probably cause she wasn’t a virgin
Queen Elizabeth was the BEST! Only thing is that I wish I’d known she had SUCH a great sense of irony and humor🤣🤣🤣🤣! One can only respect her even more now!
There's no closet, every dress was customised for each event . This clearly was commissioned precisely down to the shade of white to pop on the red carpet.

@@30.Cezzzz I think it's just the reception dress, the actual wedding the queen didn't attend because the church frowns upon divorce and remarry (which Camilla definitely did)
At first, I was confused why Camilla was wearing grey instead because of white on her own wedding day, and after realizing that it’s because no one can wear the same color as the queen, not even the bride, meaning that the queen made it so that Camilla couldn’t wear white on her wedding day, my day has gotten so much better.

Rest in Peace, Princess Diana. My mom loves her and she told me all about her at about 3 to 5 years old when Diana was still alive. But soon after, the tragic event occured. R.I.P. Diana of Wales.
Exactly! whether Camilla had a say or not she could not wear white to her own wedding due to the queens choices. The gall of Charles to have Camilla present at his wedding to Diana though, damn
The ONLY reason Camilla didn't wear white was because she had been previously married and traditionally its not done. At Diana's wedding she wore pale grey which Diana herself confirms in interviews. Lastly there's plenty of footage where other members of the royals have attended the same events as the late Queen wearing the same colour
@@daniellecope283It's actually very common for divorcees to wear non-white dresses to their second wedding especially if they're older. Camilla probably wouldn't have worn white regardless
I love this. It makes me smile to think she did it intentionally. 😊She also bowed to Diana’s casket at her funeral. She as queen, never bowed to anyone. That says quite a bit about the relationship that used to be between the two even if it was no longer that way at the time of Diana’s passing.
@@Lily-zf4xy but not judging princess diana at all for her rule breaking because she did it with her heart. And I honestly think by her doing that, she got the respect from the queen. Diana never broke a rule out of spite or ill natured. It was the kind, wondering soul inside and out that broke the rules for the better and that’s why the people loved her. Diana didn’t deserve what had happened right before her death.
@@hayleybrown4348 I think it was also respect that Princess Diana did it, period. I wonder if inside Queen Elizabeth wanted to do the same, especially considering how many times her husband cheated on her. But she was the Queen and couldn't express that pain outwardly so maybe Queen Elizabeth internally rallied with Princess Diana in that. Princess Diana didn't just break royal protocol, she broke lady protocol. She broke female protocol. Women just didn't come out right with their feelings, especially married women back then. We're taught to keep it in the family but Princess Diana was like, nope, I'm blowing this shit right on out so the world can see that these royals' shits smell just as bad as anyone else and their hearts get broken just as bad as anyone else. @Pontiflex_you mean since Britain and Scotland united ? In that case I believe that happened right after Elizabeth I death and her cousin, the son of queen Mary of Scotland took over both thrones. And he passed it to his son who lost the throne if i am not mistaken.
There’s a rule that whatever color the queen wears to a ceremony, no one can wear the same color, hence why she apparently wore white at the second wedding so Camilla couldn’t even though she really wanted to.
@corge the whole wearing white was started be Queen Victoria because she thought that white went better with the jewelry she wanted to wear. The color Camilla couldn't wear is a light blue color
