One thing I honestly can't understand about the gay community is why they always trying to force they practice on the straight people. If you sing a song it offends them. If you talk about the effects of their practice it offends them. In the end God is judge and he alone will judge all of us. Gene I know this message is late but your response is amazing. As a teacher I see the big rainbow at our elementary school and I am mortified. Why are these people pushing their abnormal lifestyle on innocent children. I will never accept this lifestyle no matter how they try to normalize it to sway people from normalcy.
I like this interview very much. Very intelligent and informative with this topic. Just like the gay community feel they have a right to be who they want to be and publicly display that, she has the right to say whatever she wants to say. She was not knocking gays in her message she's only being proud of her own sexuality. What the hell is wrong with that? And why is the heterosexual community not taking more of a stand to defend artists like her and even themselves? No one has the right to shut someone's voice down or their rights to make a living. This didn't stop her. She still has a career since this incident and many people enjoy seeing her in concert, including me. I even met her, plus I had her sign her last album Climb, which went to no. 1 on the Billboard reggae charts. That's proof that our Queen isn't going anywhere.
