For a man who, in the movie, said that he didn't play instruments, Freddie plays a darn good piano! He's a delight to watch and listen to. I love the way they interact and play off each other. Their individuality's evident while, at the same time, they become the group, "family" of which they've spoken. The 70s - those were high school & some college days for me. I'm amazed at the clothing. Oh, yeah, that was the 70's! MTV, you really made a mistake, pushing them off because of the one video! I'm loving the extra clips, interviews. Glad I watched the Golden Globes!...gotta get back to the screen - Somebody To Love.....

This is the era that I fell in love with Queen's fantastic music - such harmony, beautiful melodies combined with the heaviest hard rock one could imagine. Then the musicianship !!! Last not least, Freddie's unforgettable powerful voice and lyrics !!! They were the greatest band that England ever produced. 🌟🙌😘😜😍🌟💕

I love this older material so much! Not only beautiful vocals in their young life voices, but to see their young selves, so young & beautiful. Especially Freddie, it's amazing how much he changed from.1975 to 1985! He grew up, filled out a bit, worked out & got muscles. His voice changed too, still recognizable, but deeper & richer. In his 20s he had a clear, bell like quality. He never really lost it, but it changed.

i was well into my 30's when Queen first started their career. i was truly an ardent fan when they first called them selves Smile . They had by then called Queen. When they appeared on Top Of The Pops. i had become an ardent fan from then onwards. Watching their sheer determination and self belief was worth all the hurdles they faced. Then everyone was amazed when Bohemian Rapsody exploded onto our tv's with the lyrics and the first vidio i had ever seen.à Thank Goodness for Kenny Everett. The rest is history. i was so very lucky to have seen them in concert. Thank you Utube, for bringing the best Group ever. .

Brian is on fire on Liar. He is the spine of this song and Freddie brings it home with his powerful vocals. Both of them set on the foundational drumming and bass of Roger and John. What an incredible band. The basslline on this song truly shows how talented and instrumental John really is to the band.

Badgers and Cheese on Toast ... I was extremely fortunate ... My older brother (I am #2 of 8 siblings) scored 5th row seats for the 1975 gig, and it was so incredible. In 1978 5 of us siblings and my Mom were at Cobo for the Jazz show. So much talent, I miss Freddie and Queen's music so much. I am blessed to be have been a teenager when Queen hit the American music scene. I will always treasure Queen's music and that famous unique beautiful voice of Freddie Mercury, and Queen. They are in a category of their own, no one can compare. As a young person I loved concerts, and went to over 30 as a teen. Queen only came to Detroit once, I was 13 at the time and too young to go. Queen is my one huge musical concert experience I regret to this day. I still recall the first time I heard BO-RAP, whoa, I turned looked at my AM/FM stereo and stated "WOW WHAT WAS THAT I LOVE IT". You are all the World's Treasures. RIP Freddie, Health and Blessing to all.

Well, I can think of a few other bands that have a perfect blend of "voices, melodies, and songs." Beatles, Beach Boys, CSN, Chicago, Yes, Fleetwood Mac, and the Police. The Beach Boys recording engineer said that Brian Wilson's song writing was up there with Duke Ellington. Fleetwood Mac's Rumours sold over 40 million alone. Which is more than any other band. Beatles is second with St Pepper. And every band I mentioned had/has extraordinary talent, voices, melodies and songs, or they wouldn't have lasted very long.

My friend at the time said she would dance around the house to Tie Your Mother Down because it was fast and catchy. Her husband worked at Big Lots and there was a discount album bin so he picked up the Queen album for $1. They hadn't become a hit in the U.S. yet and we loved it. I love Queen in the 70's, it was real rock compared to the 80's. I love all albums from the first one to Jazz and the last one with Freddy!!! I don’t even remember which album I got my hands on first - the third or the first, but it was amazing. There were difficulties in understanding the great Night at the Opera, but the years of "driven" enjoyment for the rest of my life! Of course, and memories of youth, trips to the "flea market" for new albums and Queen as well. Hello everyone from Ukraine!

@@firstandlastswagman269 I have my own theory to understand how a man who loved very much a girl. A man that was living with her since 6 years and thought to married her....and suddenly became a gay. Something hard has happened. Something that he couldn't fight to. Something that he even couldn't talk about to anyone. To protect the people that he loved. Something or "someone" that forced him to become a gay. You'll find the answer, if you asked for.
