I was just 15 years old when I saw Queen at the Gaumont theatre back in 70s. Incredible gig. I love their heavier rock era. I managed to sneak backstage, their dressing room was filled with amazing bouquets of flowers everywhere!! Had a brief chat with them, and Freddie, gawd bless him, picked up a bouquet of flowers and gave it to me! Shame didn't have a camera back then!!

I'm so pleased that this band is loved and appreciated by all the youngsters that have commented, I have been a fan of Queen since 1973, I still have Queen 1 and Queen 2 on vinyl as well as Sheer heart attack. I saw them live in 1974 in Swansea. This brings back so many brilliant unforgettable memories. You've made an old man very happy.

KISS may be my favorite band of all-time (and has been since I was seventeen years old), but this Queen track (which happened to be its debut single) has become my favorite song of all-time! I took up karaoke activity just a few months ago, and have showcased this (relatively) hard-hitting number more than any other so far! I've survived a ton of crazy and difficult stuff since childhood (and even thought very briefly at one point as a teenager about taking my own life). Therefore, I feel as though that "Keep Yourself Alive" by Queen is a really excellent fit for me!

Queen at their best, long haired '70's rockstars kicking arse on record and even more so onstage. For me the Sheer Heart Attack album was their best record. Freddie was fucking fantastic, best quote when the power went off: We'll pose and you just look at us... Only Freddie could pull that off. Excellent.

Thank you for this video. It wakes memories back in 1987, when this album "Queen" as LP was my first Queen album. I got it for my birthday from my parents. I remember that after this song (the first song on the album) ended, I directly walked to my record player and started it again from the beginning to listen to it again.

To me...Queen's debut lp...their best.

I saw Queen 12 times in concert. The first time 11.23.77 in Philadelphia USA and the last concert was on 7.11.86 in London England. I met Queen on July 24, 1982 at the Spectrum In Philadelphia also. Such memories of my favorite band since the era we are watching today via You Tube. Love my Queen....Thank you Brian, Roger, John, and Freddie for the last 46 years. And dear Fredds Rest In Peace!!
