This is the Friday show, the first of the two legendary nights at Wembley. Queen "Live at Wembley Stadium": July 11, 1986. (*Ripped and uploaded by Fabio Tosti)
I cry every time I hear him say "I still love you", then he says "don't you forget it". We won't Freddie, we never will, you are among the greatest people to ever grace the earth, the best singer ever, best frontman ever and hell, even the best songwriter ever! Absolutely stunning man, 1 in infinity, their will never be anybody like him. Rest In Peace.😪
Totally agree 100% can't. Stop listening to queens music even though I have followed the band for years ....there will never be anyone to match Freddie singing ability a presence on stage.....how could anyone ever have thought someone could Wright a song like bohemian rhapsody and told the song wouldn't work but stuck with it and all the other beautiful songs all the band members wrote. ....BEST BAND EVER.................
Brian is a stunning guitar player, Freddie is just captivating, & his showmanship getting audience to sing back to him still grabs my heart, tearing up.
It just gives me a great sense of appreciation that this gentleman and the band left us many wonderful songs to help us get through our struggles in life.
I was lucky enough to hear Brian play this beautiful song and for us to sing along in Vegas last weekend. When Freddie appeared on the big screen to sing the last verse, it brought tears to my eyes - amazing.
You were the true love of all of our lives Freddie. Come back we miss you and will always love you. I remember that day I stood infront of you at Live Aid back in 85. It was a moment i will always have and remember. Chris Ireland
Love of my life just melts me. I was 19 when I saw Queen at Knebworth . I fell in love with him then . The power of his voice filled knebworth . His presence on stage , there is only one Freddie mercury . Nobody can touch the voice the drama darling . I went to Sotheby’s , to the Freddie Mercury auction, I felt so sad these amazing things would be lost forever , something didn’t feel right auctioning his belongings off . Love you Freddie forever and a day xx
This song is the most adorable of all the ones I have heard and a most beautiful declaration of love with a melody, I love you with my heart guys from QUEEN
My son loved queen every Friday night be for going up the pub he would play queen as loud as he could while getting himself ready ,then he had a head injury 😅and that put paid to that ,❤
This version of "Love of my life" @ Wembly Nov 7, 1986... is so beautiful; it brings tears to my eyes. And although; it was written for his friend, Mary, was a testament of how he truly loved & appreciated his fans. Most famous people don't really appreciate their fans, but Freddie did & he was an exceptional person on the inside. I've gotten to know him through his beautiful songs & all of his interviews & he was a real, genuine beautiful man on the inside. Humility is a rarity amongst International Rock & Roll Legends like Freddie Mercury, but that's what made him a uniquely rare person. His voice was a "one in a million" that will probably never be duplicated or outdone, but the the beauty he possessed on the inside was just as rare & the world is a much darker & sadder place w/o, not only, his golden pipes; but the songs he wrote also, which were a glimpse into his gentle spirit.
Hames Jetfield sorry for the typo... just an American. I didn't know what you were talking about at first, but then I caught my error in mixing up the month/day... that's what multi tasking will do for you. CK
I have heard Freddie sing this song lots of times. Marc Martel mentioned,' he didn't know if it was true or not', but Freddie may have written this song from Mary Austin's point of view. Thinking of this It makes me cry. She WAS with him till the end.
I love Freddie so much words can't describe it I'm so proud to be seeing brian may and roger Taylor live with Adam Lambert I'm so excited for this. I bought my own ticket and everything (: balcony isn't the greatest but you're in the same room as legends what else can you ask for ❤❤❤ I just wish Freddie was able to be there 💔 I love you Freddie ❤😍
I was at the second night & I was just thinking the opposite, his voice & stage performance far more flowing & real. Either night was amazing, lets face it, best band ever, best vocals ever & forever best front man!!!! he just said "i still love you & don't you forget it".
I don’t think this is his best vocal performance of this song (still incredible) but something about it is just beautiful in its simplicity, my favourite live performance of this
I saw Queen in uk at James park 1985 I was 15!. I’m 55 now and it was truly the best concert I’ve ever been too and nothing will surpass it ever. Sending love too you Freddie, such an amazing Angel xxx🙏🥰♥️
I can't believe his death. Such a long time and my heart is always by Freddie. Best singer and performer on this planet. I'll never forget Freddy Mercury and his legendary songs. He is gone too soon. Miss him so much every f.... day! Thank you Freddy for especially music 🙏🙏🙏🙏👌👏🔥🔥🔥💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓
