It was an indescribable feeling for me to be in the same room where Freddie recorded his last songs..it's absolutely awesome!! and please forgive me my unprofessionell sound mixing ^^ ..was my first time on a mixing desk ;)
+Rebecca McInerney I adore their friendly competitive digs at eachother. Their comments about eachother doing drum or guitar solos during gigs are always so funny to hear.

So sad." Mother Love" was his swansong,he was dying man, sufering from this terrible disease but his voice was still so strong and beautiful. He is a real legend and true legends never die! TY 4 this precious footage.Greetings from Germany!

Extraordinary Studio Experience Montreux. It seems, that Freddie's spirit is still there and his voice sounds so deeply. I realize of his great uniqueness. I miss him.
THANK YOU for filming and uploading this. It's great that someone in Montreux realised how smart it would be to open a Queen Museum. I mean, this is going to be Switzerland's Graceland - if it's not just a temporary thing. Lucky you for getting there!
The opening song Bijou is by far, IMHO, is the very best vocals Freddie ever did. Crystal clear, voice sang with conviction from the soul. This sends chills. Yes other songs define and are powerful but this one is so timeless and we all can relate. What a piece of majic he was.
That is SO AWESOME that The Group Queen, with give US, the AVERAGE JOE a chance to "Mix" they're last two songs in the VERY STUDIO where they recorded those last two songs!! that is TOTALLY AWESOME. I LOVE Music and wish I had a chance go there and do that. I've always like the Group Queen, too. ;)
Mesmo doente, sua dicção perfeita. Rei mesmo. O maior de todos. Pode ter inveja...AMO FREDIEE MERCURY. Deus o guarde onde estiver que esteja BEM. FREDIEE para Sempre. QUEEN A MELHOR BANDA DO MUNDO.
Estuvimos en agosto de 2014. Increible ver este gran museo y poder sentarme en la mesa de mezclas ( sabemos que es una copia) donde Freddie Mercury grabo sus ultimas canciones. Larga vida a QUEEN.
MONTREUX lugar lindo com belos recantos e com cheiro das belas canções do grande Freddie Mercury,o homem qie jamais morreu porque valores não morrem.Estive lá e voltarei logo para aquele pedaço de céu.
Where’s the large tracking room? If you open the Jazz album the open fold has a large Black and White photo of them at this studio. Does anyone know where the large room is located?
Having worked on these I am like okay how are they making the faders work but none of the meters except for the on screen ones which I am guessing are supposed to be the 24 track.. tape was a little before my time. That said Mother Love was one of their most powerful songs. You can feel Freddy's pain his mortality put in this song and Brian? I think doing the final verse after Freddy was gone you could tell his heart was broken. You feel it.
I don't believe Brian. The lyrics until the final verse, Freddie talk to Mary Austin. And, I've read the job of the writer of Queen songs making the particular album are responsible for working with the producer to bring the track to conclusion, effects, etc.. I want to believe Freddie finished his lyrics - planned to return to pull it all together. That last verse is talking physical pain inconsistent with Freddie's lyrics. I do hear Brian's heartfelt misery which seems self-serving. Of course I may be totally wrong. Actually knowing Freddie would tell me "it really doesn't matter" ... I finally stop the tears.
AR MONUMENTAL he didnt had a chance to finish it he said he'll come back and finish it of but he never came back and then he died so brian decided to finish it
AR MONUMENTAL At the end of the song it features a sample from a live sing along session recorded at Queen's famous 1986 concert at Wembley Stadium, and a sample from the intro of the studio version of "One Vision" and "Tie Your Mother Down". Also, close to the end of the track features a few seconds of every Queen song ever recorded, put together and then rapidly sped through a tape machine. It also features a sample from a cover of "Goin' Back", a song written by Carole King and Gerry Goffin, for which Mercury had provided lead vocals in 1972. The cover was released as a b-side to "I Can Hear Music", a Ronettes cover, by Larry Lurex, not long before the release of Queen's debut album. At the end there is a baby heard crying. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mother_Love_(Queen_song)
