El legendario concierto de "Queen en Budapest", perteneciente al "Magic Tour" del verano 86', fue publicado en 1987, en VHS. Su primera emisión a nivel mundial, fue de la mano de Euskal Telebista, el 3 de Junio de 1988 (al menos, no tengo noticia de que fuera emitido en otra tv, anteriormente). La version televisiva duraba 60 minutos, con respecto a los 90 ' que duraba el VHS original.
La chica rubia que acompañaba a Freddie en su visita por la ciudad, es Mary Austin. Era muy dulce, la manera en que ambos se miraban ... En la intro, podíamos escuchar aquel "Tavaszi szél vizet áraszt"; una canción tradicional infantil hungará, que Freddie quiso dedicar al público magiar... Muchisimos recuerdos de ver el concierto en aquella inolvidable noche( hace 30 años). Esa intro me parecio "mágica" (nunca mejor dicho). Yo era un crio en aquella época y me encantó esa canción ...
The legendary Queen concert in Budapest for their "Magic Tour", which took place in the summer of 1986, was released on VHS in 1987. It was broadasted for the first time in Basque Television (Spain) the 3rd of June, 1988 (at least, I didn't know if it was broadcasted or not, in another tv channel, earlier). The tv version lasted around 60 minutes, while the vhs was 90 minutes long.
The blonde girl who appears with Freddie, in his visit to the city, is Mary Austin. The way that they looked each other was so sweet... In the intro we can heard the hungarian traditional children song "Tavaszi szél vizet áraszt"; a poignant track that Freddie dedicated as a present to all the hungarian fans... So great memories of that night (30 years ago), when I saw it for the first time. I was a little kid, then, and the intro was so magical for me. That song touched me so much ...
