Damn that's some hardcore manual marking stuff. When I mark, I end up using like $30 bucks worth of clips, tubes, and markers to get the job done. Not sure I could do it with just my fingers without killing her.
First of all, Thanks for the video. It is really pleasure to watch and learn from you. 2. May I know what is the name and model of the paint? I looked at testors website but there are several different types of paint there.
Here in Southeast (Georgia), when we ship Queens within the region - we get three or four; our night-time temps (down at the Post Office) are still quite warm; so, that is a three-dog-night, for the Queen; Most importantly, seven or eight worker bees would be able to keep a Queen fed and hydrated when MP ships his Queens from the edge of the cool-north-west Continent - his Queens could go further North, or further South; further North is probably easy; but I am guessing that if I order a queen bee from MP, his queen and her eight attendants are going to be shocked at the 24/7 temperatures - and that shock is stress. So, if half of those attendants die during the shock of going South, god help them if somone from Miami orders a queen - well, then the Queen will arrive alive and well; attendants are cheap - care for your queen the very most! But, yes, if I was moving a queen across my bee-yard and introducing her to a queen-less colony of her own kind (never mind another race of bees), then I would probably put in four attendants (or none); yes, none; a trip that short often gets no attendants - just a few drops of water; that motivates the queen to play-nice.
