This is the last time John Deacon played with the Band. He wrote this wonderful tribute to for Freddie and retired. I believe The loss of Freddie was just too much to bear. John only played 3 times after Freddie passed away, this was the final time. John Deacon has my respect and admiration! I hope he is doing well.

Yes, they all four were great however three of them saw the way to greatness and sensationalist and legends was by Freddy and they write those songs because they loved him and they know without him I don't mean this cruel please no one get angered I don't think there would have been a queen and I don't think the band would have ever reached the status that it did Freddie I wish someone have protected you I wish that they could have had the right handlers on you and maybe you could have been around longer rest in peace the greatest entertainer yes you are the performer and your band is is taking the show on but to me it's not the same.

really, it's 2021 and I'm 29 - I saw a lot uneasy & sad things in life, but.. it's still the most painful thing that I've ever felt.. 💔 all this story of how Freddie was struggling with his disease, and how Brian, Roger & John has been getting over his death.. 💔 He has a huge impact on my young life with his music and what a generous & kind person he was.. I had breast cancer in 2015 & a year ok chemo so I was very sick. But when I was on RU-vid about 1 year ago & listened to his music, watching the videos & stories about his life & getting so sick, he still continued to live & enjoy his life, he didn't stop till he couldn't go anymore. He inspired me to keep going like he did & don't give up or stop living, make everyday a miracle. Now I listen to his/ their music everyday, it keeps me going.

In my way of thinking, Freddie pretty much kept Oueen going and now that he is gone, they just didn't know how to go on without Freddie, and that is why it took so long for them to get back out on tour here a few years ago!! All I know is that Freddie is truly missed by them and that is why they had to get back out there, with or without John Deacon!! We love you Freddie, all the way up there in Heaven!! We Still LOVE you!!! Queen will never be the same without you!!!

This song is so beautiful and moving. Watching this video again made me feel the actual grief of losing Freddie as if I would have known him in person though I was born years after his death and I really discovered Queen's music for me only five months or so ago. But I've become a huge fan and it makes me incredibly sad to know, that I will never get the chance to be at a original Queen live show.
