I appreciate your video. I hate being her because people like to use her as an emotional dumping ground. I've had to cut off a lot of people because they want to complain to me all the time about their problems. Plus I constantly get treated like crap. No more being someone's counselor.

I loved this deep dive. I found empathy, feeling and living for meaningful exchanges with people all who I am as well as the Queen of Swords. A nice mix of logic with emotion. I never try to manipulate, but sometimes do feel a sense of pride when I can connect and help someone on a deeper level. Thanks for these Kate. I will explore deeper for sure. ❤️

I just discovered your channel (great one) and the super interesting deep dive series. I have many tarot books and I sometimes encounter differences about interpretation (specially in the minor arcana) which can be a bit confusing for us, beginners. That's why I try to keep expanding and learning. I found tarot this year and I,m fascinated by it. You are a very good teacher, your explanations are detailed, clear and easy to understandcard. I once read that if someone doesent know how to explain something is because deep down they don't really understand it themselves which, obviously, is not your case. Anyway, thank you very much and congratulations from Spain.I have subscribed and activated notifications. I don't know if you are planning to dive into the minor arcana. I resonate with the empathy, the listening, the random strangers opening up to me. I have had to take a step back though and learn to put boundaries up about how much help I give as opposed to just listening. I do know how to push buttons too. 🤔🤣 I would choose a calm, boring environment over a drama filled one. That surprised me... But yup, Q of Cups, definitely emotionally intelligent which can be dangerous. And I really like meaningful conversations. Talking about the weather drives me nuts... Thanks, Kate. Love the deep dive into these cards. As I was listening to the video, I was wondering if the Queen of Cups responds to certain emotions differently or are they all the same to her? I wondered If she felt more satisfied/ fulfilled making space for the broken hearted or angry people or people who are excited in a positive way (e.g. got a new job, won the lottery, going on a wonderful upcoming vacation, etc.). The dark side of this card was new information for me. I also liked the way you described the symbols of the fish and mermaid and how they can dive deep. I also never noticed the shell clasp on the Queen’s cape before. Thanks for making these videos. They are full of wonderful Tarot information!

I like the idea of her "collecting secrets" (I've always noticed the lid in that cup(. Maybe not even secrets un the sense of knowing something "hidden" bout someone, just knowing someone at a deep level bestows a certain kind of power.

Funny enough I consider it a win if I give a birthday or Christmas gift that makes someone get teary eyed or cry. As a therapist I do consider it a win if someone sheds tears… I would never push for it and usually I don’t always need to say much with the exception of just being present and asking the right question.

I’m transitioning from knot of cups to queen of cups. I do acting btw. But I surely hope to not pick up these shadow aspects. Yuck! I like my knight if cups shadows much better.

A celebrated tarot card reader once told me that Queen of Cups represents me because of my strong Scorpio placements in my natal chart.

Cleaning house, lawn mowers that won't start, car repairs, etc. stress me to no end. I can push buttons sometimes but I don't like calming the situation. I'm probably the one to start it though. LOL. I pay the bills but I don't enjoy it.

Not sure what to say here, I’m no queen by any means, (related to or know some)but I share some quality’s with this card. if I’m hurt deeply,I’ll strike back, as I love deeply, I hurt deeply, or I don’t care, meaning you can’t touch me, you don’t matter. Kinda fire n ice. Yet pretty forgiving. As for listening, I hear, you may not notice often with my poker face, I later think and overthink. I don’t often see much, (maybe not looking)but I hear a lot. Like a small town. But I truly don’t wish to hurt others, having said that, sometimes you must stand alone until truth is known. I don’t know all but I do know what I know. Some don’t believe it’s possible. Others taunt it. I know all that glitters is not gold. But diamonds are a girls best friend.

My sun sign is Cancer, so very much of your video I can identify as being very me ! I guess I may have some of the dark side, but if so I am not really aware of it.I have been working at creating more boundaries over the recent years for my own well being,as I definitely take on others problems.Loved your video and will start to catch up on your other videos as my Tarot cards are precious to me and I find them supportive on a day to day basis,I don't read for others,but if I have a worry or a question,they always help me focus my thoughts.xx

I was struck with your video ! I am a person who have experienced one of the most extraordinary abusive childhoods.. & was exposed to many things I was not suppose to see at that young period of age. So for some reason I grew up to be the weird strange one among my siblings & my journey was extremely different & odd to others too. Now looking back I already have confirmed why. Through the years I learnt my powers & identified how extremely intuitive I am which led me to understand who I really am & is my real purpose in life. I’m 43 years of age now. Today I decided to do my first tarot reading to myself since I tapped deeper into my psychic abilities & spirituality. The card I pulled which asked “who I really am ?” Was I swear to god almost all good traits you mentioned about her was spot on! Goosebumps I’m in a devastating state this moment- for how accurate that was.. I kid you not, that just explained everything literally! For few of her manipulative traits, I was able to resonate.. but not all in details like her good traits! Freaky!

Wow this one really resonates with me…as I am also a counselor 😂 I wouldn’t say the dark side as much, but definitely holding space and a curiosity about my own and others’ deep emotional worlds/ the unconscious. I also love incorporating dream work, creative activities and imagination into my work with clients. So all of those things resonate 😊

I love these deep dives, Kate. I have always been a “peacemaker”. I will run from any argument and need to heal any divisions. I’m good at calming situations and helping people see the other side of a disagreement. I just need peace at any cost. I know it’s not healthy to not be able to stand up for oneself, yet so easy to do for others. Is this Queen of Cups behavior?

My highest vibration is queen of cups, but I’m trapped in page of cups energy due to blocking. Basically I’ve walled off that empathy and care for others that I’m supposed to have because of trauma, and haven’t done the work of undoing it. I’m trying to dive deeply into meditation and journaling so I can work through those things, because I want to level up spiritually and become the person my higher self wants me to be. Recently I’ve been pulling lots of queen of cups for myself and what I need to reach. There’s many people around me cheering me on, but also saying that if I can’t do this, I’ll be left behind. If nothing else, I want to do it so I won’t be left behind. (Sidebar… so glad karmic law and moral law are different cause Christ…). I know I can reach this, but I am actively blocking it so I am not exposing myself to it. When I can learn to let go and really intentionally care about those around me and hold a space for them, I think I’ll be able to open myself up to queen of cups. Until then, I’m just dragging myself and everyone around me down with the impulsive, spastic, childish energy of the page of cups.

Hi Kate, thank you very much for doing this video. Oddly, I pulled both the Queen of Cups and the High Priestess consecutively twice today. As this has popped out of the two decks I use, its not been in a traditional position in the spread. As they appeared in the same way from two decks today, I feel there is a message my spirit guides are trying to get through especially as the Heirophant also has been appearing frequently. I wondered what your intuitions are about the queen of cups and the high priestess coming out together so insistently. They have a lot of similarities. Your video is a good description of me actually! After doing these readings, your video on queen of cups popped up so it seems like an omen and I thought I would post a comment. Recently I started pulling a daily card and listing the card in a journal I started. I give thought to each card I pull, which is how I found this channel. I needed more deep dive information on the cards I was pulling. Yah, I know the characteristics of the Queen of Cups well. I tend to be like the Queen, being a Cancer (male). Would have been nice if you turned the tables on that councilor, and made her cry instead.

You didn't really go over how she is the mother and that kinda nurturing side of things. How the little mermaids represent children and taking care of them (which I often bring up in readings) also the baby on the throne I see as a 'baby in spirit' and often comes up for women who have just had a miscarriage or still birth etc. I guess everyone gets different messages on the cards though @tarotw/coco
