Jesus' outfit caught my eye. Usually he's decked out in some elegant garment or another, but his robe here seems to balance wealth and poverty in a unique way. Also, I don't know what the term for this is, but I love the colors of this piece - how hair is depicted as a gradient, for example. There's a smoothness to the colors and how they blend together, if that makes sense. It's very pretty.

Baby Jesus is giving the "side eye" to the saints on the right. Perhaps the figure of John the Baptist who is barefoot and wearing an animal skin? One of the other saints above John is also looking away. Curious. Also, on the far left, one of the saint's faces is obscured. Was this deliberate or a flaw in the fresco?
