This movie needs to be on Netflix. For those comparing him to edward, twilight was extremely successful and its not a horrible movie either. I mean, theres a lot of different kinds of vampires in movies, games, books. Well, its worth saying, that this movie was way more iconic than the weird interview with a vampire movie. I think my favorite vampire movie is the first 3 underworld movies. Definitely gotta like this one though. Really is a late 90s/very early 2000s cult classic. Really captures the 90s aesthetics perfectly. Ummm. I guess blade is alright. He had a complete trilogy, even if it had stuff about it i dont like, i absolutely dont ever want another blade movie. Ohhhh theres also the best Dracula movie ever, Van Helsing. Only issue really is the plot and ending, seems super weird Dracula wanted feral idiotic vampire bat babies, id assume he would be obsessed with becoming a day walker or something. Easily the best Dracula in a movie. Btw, dont watch "dracula untold" that movie is terrible. Its the worst modern vampire movie ive seen. Like its bad. Sure, the concept of a old vampire nosferatu making dracula sounds decent but that movie was all wrong. For vampire fans i highly recommend playing skyrim. Allegedly elder scrolls online is awesome. V Rising only has 1 game ruining flaw, the camera angle not offering different perspective options. Dante from dmc might not be a vampire, but hes a immortal who can turn into a dragon bat demon which is comparable. Highly recommend dmc5.
honestly hate what they did with this movie they went too far from the books and took too much liberty to make it like taking out half of the most important characters like Loui who technically is the most important person for Lestat, but I have to admit I like some scenes , like this one or when he plays the violin on the beach but the rest of the movie is pure treason to the source of the material.
Well the book is the "end game" from a series of like 6-7 books... With like dozens of characters. It would have been impossible for the time to cram so much characters in a 2h30 movie and do it justice. Even the MCU it took them 12 movies to phll it off. Now if they plan to make a series one day QotD than that migth be feasable

God this is so cringy. lol The acting is atrocious. “Who the hell are you, man.” 😕 “Your hands are-“ [WHOOSH!] -“COLD AS DEATH?” 😂 This should’ve been a comedy. Stewert did the best he could, and was hot as fuck, I won’t deny it. But god, this movie sucks so bad. (No pun)
Your opinion, but a lot of people would quite argue that this was one of the last best vampire movies to not just be good and enjoyable, but to have a good and beautiful underlying theme. This and Underworld were taking vampires to a whole new level, then came the Twilight saga...

so did he turn them into vampires or did he spare their lives? i know in this movie. the vampires usually kill their victims. im not good with names but later in the movie. that one girl wanted to be a vampire and he fought with her about turning her and waiting til the very end to do it
