L. Shenkar on violin, one of the greatest violinists hands down. Designed his own double neck electric violin allowing him to hit the full range that normally 2 violins would be needed to achieve. A pioneer and genius in his own class.
Honestly I’ve heard both versions a good few times. The covers sound pretty damn good. Maybe it’s because they got official soundtrack mixes but I think those just sound better over all. Static, David, Chester by God, even Jay. They all killed their parts. I prefer Davis’ for the movie I guess, but the soundtrack just carries weight
@@calebpassamani797 That's Shankar! Outside of many musical collaborations, people might know him as the voice in the *Heroes* TV show intros, given the credit every episode: "with the voice of Shankar" that was never really explained if you didn't know that's who you were hearing.
Jonathan sounds amazing but the musicians in this were also INCREDIBLE too. Sounds amazing live when you put it all together, so much talent in one room
That's what really needs to be released on vinyl! It's a legendary film! It's a legendary soundtrack! People are starting to forget what a really cool vampire movie is.
L shankar and korn have so much synergy in their music. Really captures that vampiric/creature of the night, ancient transcendental, and dark looming atmosphere.
This is incredible, i found the soundtrack the other day after not hearing it for years, the comparison from the soundtrack to the vocals from Jonathan in the film is fantastic.
This video kicks some real fucking ass! I remember being disappointed years ago when he was originally not allowed to release these songs because of a contract or some shit like that
My 4 most favorite tracks from the album, shame I was to young at the time to have gone to the dessert and be apart of the filming. Thanks for uploading!
Jonathan Davis best vocalist ever. But the musicians and their eerily perfect accompaniment for this soundtrack/theme = heaven. Lyrics eternally relevant!
What a fucking insane mix guys.. Love home studio recordings. The best balanced sound.. Before the movie audio sampling guys get their hands on it. Spesh that deadly Violin.. So Hot..
I just discovered this, like WTF i remember back in the day trying to find a decent audio of John singing these songs, now theres a bunch of them haha, love the movie and soundtrack
To tcjohanson 1 damn right omg bro Thank you so so much for posting this video ! Jonathan and everybody in this recording studio did an awesome f***ing session as always
I come back to this video so frequently when I hear the soundtrack pop up on my playlist. Just so much better. I wish everyone could watch this video. It needs more plays haha
