There is one major flaw with this song....mankind has not yet developed a sound system powerful enough to play this at the volume loud enough to truly do it justice!

No artist alive ever had that flamboyant postures, charisma and expressiveness as did Freddie.

I’ll never forget hearing this song for the first time. Sounds weird, but it gave me hope when I was young. I was bullied a lot and I thought that I was destined to be bullied my whole life. But this made me want to stand up and fight back. It was the first time I felt that way. I still get chills listening to this song.

Freddie was the greatest showman who ever lived. This is him at the peak of his career and he was untouchable.

I absolutely love Queen, and they are indisputably one of the greatest rock bands in history. That being said, this song has one of the most jarring tonal shifts I’ve ever heard. I absolutely adore the bad ass beginning of this song. It has an epic dark fantasy feel and then suddenly it shifts to an upbeat almost whimsical sound. The movie Highlander is anything but whimsical.

My goodness, if having Queen doing entire soundtracks wasn't a HUGE win in the 80's column then I don't know what is. The loss of Freddie Mercury was tragic not only for the person who he was being lost but to music itself. He was a unique occurence and he had so much more music in him. I mourn for what we might have heard from him over the last 30 years.
