@@amyy2403 yes, picked uo a Fender Squier and a Rumble 40 amp back in September . Been noodling around with it and really enjoying it. Will definately be spending more time at it when I retire at the end of the year. Been watching a lot bass tutorials and I am quite amazed with some the bass runs that bass players came up with. Stay safe and have a Merry Christmas.
@Otamabread oh shut the fuck up, you're literally everywhere just shitting on anybody who has a different opinion then you, and if you hate john deacon because hes "such a shitty bassist" then why do you constantly look up queen bass videos?
Great job dude.. I really dig your covers, mainly because most of them seem achievable to me at my level... really helps to motivate. Keep up the great work man, you're killing it :)
This was my first video I watched yesterday and the first song I ever played on my uke bass and wanted to say thank you my face hurts from smiling lol what a fun song to play on the bass
yo vanilla ice, where you at , dont hide i know you learnt teh bassline form this guys video XD. but srsily thank you for teh video, it made it very easy to learn it
im getting a bass for christmas (im 12) so im watching a bunch of vids on easy songs, inspirations are Nikki Sixx of Motley Crue, Lexxi Foxx from Steel Panther, Jason Newsted from Metallica and Mike Dirnt from Green Day, Rock on Florain!
"Brian May clarified matters in a 2016 article for Mirror Online, writing that it was actually Bowie, not Taylor, who had inadvertently changed the riff. The riff began as "Deacy began playing, 6 notes the same, then one note a fourth down". After the dinner break, Bowie changed Deacon's memory of the riff to "Ding-Ding-Ding Diddle Ing-Ding"." -From 2016 Article Mirror Online
Great, man. Please, let me ask you a question. I play bass, too, but I have a little trouble to equalize the bass, right. In you bass, in what way you let the tone knob? You use some additional eq in your daw to record? Because the sound is great. Thanks
Great playing. Not saying it is wrong but I think John Deacon plays a down stroke on the main riff when you go to the 3rd string 12th fret. To me on record it sounds that way and if you watch him play live it looks that way. No big deal because you are hitting all the right notes.
dear florian, just one year ago bought a bass, 62 and learning, i became your patreon this week, but i dont manage to download , Under Pressure from Queen, can you help me, gtz John
Ice ice baby sucks. This is amazing :) thank you for this vid... Btw I've always wanted to learn bass guitar and drum but I don't have space in my house or money 😂
@@arcanehornet maybe I am a follower of that youtuber, and the truth is that it plays well but all bassists know that a bass is not to be used with a pick because apart from that they confuse us a lot with guitarists and that is different from what we do if you are a true Musician you will understand that the bass of the original form is with the fingers, that people use it so as not to hurt their princess fingers is something else but what arguments do you give me? You just tell me that I am another fan of Davie504 but I know what it plays well and as it should.
Denzel Daniel Popoca Lugo your comment is stupid and you’re overthinking it a lot. It’s a matter of tone and preference. Why do you have to gatekeep playing bass instead of letting everyone play how they like? I personally play bass with fingers and pick too, depending on the song.
