The hanbok's are so beautiful in this movie. And I agree with Queens was absolutely breathtakingly beautiful.

It was so flawless. White with golden designs embedded with white pearls and then a flowing white silk to compliment it,am very dumbfounded. This is top class.

The dress the mistress wore was beautiful. The queen was EXQUISITE. Look at how the mistress's dressmaker looked the queen's gown,he was stunned by the gown!😊

Both dresses are amazing but the mistress look reminds me of a high-class courtesan, not a queen. Maybe because it was very colourful and loud and showcased her need to be the centre of attention.

@@cassiophea1399 I did watch the movie a few years ago but my view of the dress still stays the same about their look even though they were from the same designer. If I remember correctly, the tailor came from a poor background and the one working with the concubine uses his status to take the design and pass it off as his.

The Queen's dress has a lot detail which points out the one wearing it, the Queen.

I don't agree, I think the lavender dress was equally stunning, the cut made more her gorgeous figure than the white dress. It was just the less humble way she walked in, I guess that's how she was meant to act. But the colour and embellishments of the lilac dress were gorgeous.

@@blackbangtan8943 I've watched some videos of this before, I think the King killed the tailor who made the dress for her highness the Queen because of his jealousy. The tailor back then was accused and the Queen defended her from the King showing him some evidences however the King won't even listen to the Queen and decided to punish the tailor by killing him.

@@blackbangtan8943 if my memory serves me right, he was also framed by the royal tailor since he took it by heart that he was defeated over and over. This together with the king's jealousy (upon realizing that the tailor and the queen seem to have some romantic connection)Although, in truth, the queen and the tailor never acted on their feelings and were just showing them subtly. It was just unfortunate that the king really liked the queen in the beginning but because of the king's brother (an equal asshole), he ceased showing his affection towards the queen. When the king was finally ready to give her queen some attention, that was when his jealousy took over and gave a death sentence to the tailor. The queen, since then just remained in her chamber, inconsolable. Meanwhile, the royal tailor remained in his position but unneeded and unwanted whilst all around him were the common people sporting the dead tailor's designs.

That's how they lived in olden days. We are lucky we're not born in that era

I read all about him, from his childhood until how he become a King and his queen and concubines. I read this at wikipedia and yes I found that his first queen is Queen Jeongseong is play by Park Shin Hye in this drama. In drama Haechi(2019), the character of Queen Jeongseong played by Choi Soo Im. For the character of the king, I've check and yes it's yeongjo but I can be wrong because I use wikipedia as my source. If anything are not true, please correct me because this is korean history which is I'm not expert. I do this reading and watch many drama like this because I like to know their history. 😄😄

Yup..this good actor , Yeo Yoon Seok is like the older brother of sehun..they really look similar u will think theyre siblings...i hated his role on this movie but i loved his character in the kdrama Dr. Romantic 1 and being that cold samurai in Mr. Sunshine 。^o^
