Great song, a staple of confidence sang by the band! A much needed song to declare to the world that Queen were a band not to be messed around with. Great behind the scene footage captured, and in the video I do want to thank the unsung heroes often overlooked.

================================================================================
This is footage of the band recording and mixing We Are The Champions in the studio.
This was shot by the Bob Harris crew for their upcoming documentary of the band in December of 1977, however the documentary footage was shelved and was never used. This footage was later used in the extras of the Days Of Our Lives 2011 documentary and Queen - Rock The World 2017 documentary.
I have tried my best to merge these clips together from both sources, to try to create the longest and best version available.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Lyrics:
I've paid my dues
Time after time.
I've done my sentence
But committed no crime.
And bad mistakes ‒
I've made a few.
I've had my share of sand kicked in my face
But I've come through.
(And I need just go on and on, and on, and on)
We are the champions, my friends,
And we'll keep on fighting 'til the end.
We are the champions.
We are the champions.
No time for losers
'Cause we are the champions of the world.
I've taken my bows
And my curtain calls.
You brought me fame and fortune, and everything that goes with it.
I thank you all.
But it's been no bed of roses,
No pleasure cruise.
I consider it a challenge before the whole human race,
And I ain't gonna lose.
(And I need just go on and on, and on, and on)
We are the champions, my friends,
And we'll keep on fighting 'til the end.
We are the champions.
We are the champions.
No time for losers
'Cause we are the champions of the world.
We are the champions, my friends,
And we'll keep on fighting 'til the end.
We are the champions.
We are the champions.
No time for losers
'Cause we are the champions.

I feel all too often, we over look them. This is something I have come to the realization during my Queen dive. I always thought about it, but never stopped the video and made an effort to thank them. I did that, and got a few dislikes and also lost some subscribers I guess for it. That is okay, this is a small channel, and its growing. I have faith. If you have been with me from the start, which I guess you have. I could suggest my playlist in which you will see the evolution. This is no means me blowing my own trumpet, but you will get a sense of how far I have come in the space of a few weeks. Mainly by taking time, and getting to the Queen fans, I have become a combination of all of you more or less. (Copyrighted HAP3SPEAKZ) ©️

Carmen, I just wanted to ensure that the songs done at LA were reacted to in the most tactful way (in order). Listening to you guys, from the start of my journey has helped. I did not take that for granted. I can ensure you. And if there is EVER doubt, my playlist from day 1, till now, and the future will forever indicate my approach to Queen. Something which I can be proud of. This is a small channel (right now), and every view /video likes helps. I may not be as popular as those with 1,000s, 10,000s, 100,000s subscribers. ONE big think I want to say before you watch Live Aid. At that day they didnt play to a Queen audience, Queen was added to the bill after the concert was sold out and nobody really gave a shit about Queen at that time during 1985. An american music critque once said about Queen in the mid 80s "we thought Queen was like an old slice of pizza that you forgot in your fridge". It was even worse because Queen was added to a black list of the music business because they played in South Africa in 1984 or 85 during the apartheid regime and their career in the US was basically over. So it wasnt exactly the peak in the career of Queen before they played Live Aid.

@@HAP3SPEAKZ Yep Love them. Freddie was an amazing human being. Yes Freddie found out in 1987 but at least he knew it 4 years before he left us. So I don't know if it would've been better if he didn't knew but it is what it is and it turned out to be good for him to know, because he knew that he wanted to do music till he couldn't no more. And that's what he did. I don't really understand your thing with the Montreal performance and what you are saying with radio gaga and sheer heart attack, English isn't my native language and I can't figure out what you want to tell me with that. If I watch Montreal performances I feel great and it's the same (actually even greater) when I watch their performances of 1986. Actually quite early, Queen were able to produce themselves. They liked working with certain producers like Roy Baker and Mac, but Brian and others have said in some interviews that they themselves were on the mixing boards, and they did a lot of the work because there was a very certain sound they wanted. That didn't mean they didn't produce with other genius producers, only that they had the ability. Also the lighting rig, which was decades ahead of it's time, was designed and made by Queen. In fact, in many rehearsals for new shows, they spent more time rehearsing with the lights then the songs! Just a warning about Live Aid, the sound quality was horrible especially for 1985, (and poor Freddie's voice was so infected that the doctor told him not to perform). Queen used that knowledge in their final 1986 Magic tour to set up repeating towers with tiny delays so that the music hit everyone at once. There's alot of technical knowledge in some books about it, but I have only skimmed them so my knowledge is shaky on how it was done.

Fantastic reaction! Love the shout out to the little guys. Queen were always co-producers on their albums. Here is an 8 minute version of this video, ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-W2Giti4-z_g.html. There is also a cool Bohemian Rhapsody documentary ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-v15oIktGJOo.html. If really want to look into We Are Champions you should look at this in-depht analysis, (by yourself, it might be boring for people who don't know that much about music). The song is actually quite interesting and complex in some ways, and simple in other ways, it is a clever song, ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-sUuB7zs4ej4.html. This will actually tell you a lot about Freddie as a composer.
