This is the Friday show, the first of the two legendary nights at Wembley. Queen "Live at Wembley Stadium": July 11, 1986. (*Ripped and uploaded by Fabio Tosti)
Topsy Kretts There are WAYYYYYY better rock bands than Queen. I mean if we are just talking bands reasonable within the same genre as Queen (so I wont mention metal bands like Iron Maiden and Judas Priest, even though they are also better than Queen) but Led Zeppelin are a 100x better than Queen.
Kelli Westcott even your bud buddy Freddie Mercury WORSHIPED the ground that Paul Rodgers sang on, and was his biggest influence. So clearly Mercury thought highly of him. So suck on that you little fucking piss shit.
Love the guitar solo! Brian plays it like he means it, too. I reckon Roger must have had a miserable time on the drums during this one. There were no drums on the studio version.
This should be mandatory viewing for any aspiring band front man in how to make the crowd eat out of the palm of your hand ! Freddie is iconic ! Greatest front man in rock history and it's not even close !
We didn't eat out of the palm of his hand or anyone else's hand. THAT'S WHAT'S MAKES US BRITISH!. We love Queen and they loved their fans. Mutual love man... Just letting you know.
I was there with my brother, still got the stub . Got very lost 2's up on a bike in the rain getting home through central London! A true honour to see the man who knows no equal! What a memory.
Incredible. A Frontman like this only comes along once every..... Hmm. Well, Rock and Roll is already 60 years old or so, with thousands upon thousands of bands, and we have yet to see anything quite like Freddie Mercury again.
This is actually separate from rock & roll this is straight rock, rock is the term that is always supposed to be used for Freddie Mercury, Rock & Roll is Elvis Presley, Buddy Holly, Richie Valens, and Little Richard
Was für eine grandiose & phänomenale Stimme, was für eine Kraft & eine ganz tolle Performance! Nun, Freddy du bist in unseren Herzen & bleibst unvergessen! Danke für den tollen Clip! 💛🧡❤️🩷💝🩵💙💚💜🤎🩶🖤
At 1:08, Freddie's cape majestically billowing in the Wind, giving him a superhero or godlike aura, worthy of his namesake Mercury messenger of the Gods
Brian May is amazing guitar player as is John Decan and Roger Taylor on! drum unbelievable The 4 together were AMAZING Thank you for the. music and memories!
Respect ♥️👏
In my opinion this is the best ever live rendition of this masterpiece. The sheer power of his voice, the charisma in his looks and movements, everything. What an absolute icon
He died before I was even born, it honestly makes me so upset. Music will never be the same, I’m not a “modern music hater” but I just feel like nothing can compare to the music and joy of this era. We are worrying about money, bills, suicide so many other things. I know they were back then too, but I feel like there’s this huge cloud of depression over us. I wish I could go back, be born earlier just to be at this concert and feel the joy and energy of it. As morbid as it is, I don’t want to live in an era like this. It’s so depressing, I can’t name one performer today who will live up to Freddie. Am I saying we only have rubbish artists? No.but NOTHING will ever match this. What makes me sick is, I watched the announcement of his death on RU-vid, it was recorded. What did they do? They made a marketing scheme out of it for AIDS. Let’s remember him for his talent, his passion for music and the millions he inspired and continues to inspire everyday. Instead of shaming him for being bisexual, having AIDS. I hope that him and Jim, are resting in peace.
I wish freddie mercury was still alive he was awesome and he's still awesome Legendary, R.I.P Freddie Mercury My husband says I watch Queen videos because I have a thing for Freddie. Well yesh, who doesn't?
This performance with the cape is breathless. Freddie Mercury. Best frontman, singer, musician, composer. Ever. Forever. Timeless. Strength and courage in the face of his AIDS diagnosis and livinghis life as a gay man in a time when being gay was treated harshly
My parents were at this concert, i grew up listening to Queen and they always promised they would take me to a concert when i was older. it never happened, sadly
сейчас все слушают компьютерных фанерщиков - а Фредди мог в Любом городе Мира сказать давайте я спою- и тут стадион на 300 000 и ни слова фонограммы - все вживую - хоть час хоть два - сейчас таких не осталось ....
Roger was beating the hell out of those drums--- Freddie Mercury is the greatest frontman in the history of music. It's not even close. Elvis might be the King of Rock, but Freddie is the Queen of Rock.
