The video is finally here! It's a bit long but it's a full video so bring popcorn and sit back & enjoy Also I forgot to mention something. It's not a general dance ranking, but rather a ranking of their performance to the dance mission.
Finally someone notices Yuki's dance. I know she more prominent in rapping but his dancing is also good. I hope she gets lots of support for his skills and hard work. thanks for your opinion. this video discusses very well
it was really nice to see elly (even just as a special mention) even though weme is really strong at dancing as a whole she has never been a dance focused member and it's really great to see people acknowledge her growth and potential in this area
This really shows why woo!ah! girls are forces when it comes to dancing. I wished that more people would get to know and follow the group because I’ve been stanning them since I Don’t Miss U and I feel like they haven’t yet gotten the recognition they deserve. Stan woo!ah! ❤
Hey you probably interested with the last video from purple kiss. They just released the dance practice of dance medley cover that they did in rbw family concert recently
Everyone on the list killed it. Nana is such a standout performer and dancer, and though she's shorter than a lot of 4th gen girls, her presence takes over the stage. Though not on the list, the TripleS girls surprised me with the Overwater performance and I'm hoping that they end up doing that concept eventually since it suits them.
She really is! I personally think she could go profesionally as she seems very passionate and eager about dancing! Although they’re not on the list, they were indeed very fun to watch!
nana if she had debuted in one of the big KPOP companies imo would be one of the "it" girls right now in KPOP she is visually stunning and is a great dancer & performer nana's stage presence and charisma is off the charts & again she has that "it" factor you see with a lot of the more famous and popular KPOP artists even the other girls who are on the show and especially the judges notice that so i'm happy at the very least nana is getting some love and she & woo!ah! hopefully get more recognition and support in the future from the public and the KPOP community i mean woo!ah! is a pretty small group yet they have 2+ million followers on tiktok which i think near or in the top 5 for all 4th gen girl groups right now which is amazing again for not that big of a girl group and that's i think mainly because of nana and the dance videos the company puts up there with her as those who don't even stan woo!ah! in the KPOP community know how great of a dancer nana is
@@ireneasare9552 just looked it up and compared woo!ah! to other 4th gen girl groups itzy - 12.2 million new jeans - 8.1 million aespa - 7.2 million le sserafim - 7.2 million (g) i-dle - 6.6 million kep1er - 5.7 million ive - 5.6 million nmixx - 4.4 million woo!ah! - 2.1 million stayc - 2 million everglow - 2 million fromis 9 - 1.6 million loona - 1.5 million weeekly - 1.3 million billie - 1.3 million so they're 9th but again pretty impessive when you compare that the other girl groups in the top 10 sell well into the 6 figures in terms of album sales and in some cases 7 figures at 1+ million now woo!ah! has sold in total just under 90k albums since debuting in 2020 and although they've trended upwards with their last couple of albums, their album sales still rank below all of the other girl groups listed above who have less tiktok followers ... which again just shows you how crazy it is that woo!ah! has that huge of a following on tiktok in comparison here are the groups that are currently on queendom puzzle woo!ah! - 2.1 million weeekly - 1.3 million triples - 1.1 million cherry bullet - 1.1 million wjsn - 572k weki meki - 427kl purple kiss - 366k rocket punch - 324k lightsum - 292k h1-key - 93k
Jiwon is so underrated. She’s so strong in all aspects of being an idol - from vocals, dance, stage presence and visuals - but people sleep on her so much
people have mixed opinions on sangah's rapping, I also felt like she's better of as a vocalist. on the other hand, her dancing is so good I wish she and the show focused more on her dancing skills. she is so good omg
@@typicalrandomordinarystran9758 I agree. She was pitted against Yuki and Yeeun in rapping from the very start, and that was never going to work out for her
Kei might be lacking energy and speed but one thing I noticed about her is her postures and adapting to different concepts. she really impressed me since the snap performance
Agreed, but i wanna know the criteria to have Suyun above Yuki when you only pointed out 1 aspect of Yuki's dancing that was "wrong", to me you maybe liked the bad blood performance more and was at your likin more because the top 3 was all from the same group (top 2 is locked of course)
I always say they all did great in their own way. From what I saw, Chaerin did dance cleanly, and I thought about putting her on the list. But just like what I said about Hwiseo, she lacks hip hop training. She danced "exactly" as how the choreo should be, but dance is more than that. You have to feel and be one with the music, and I didn't see that. Hip hop focuses on the flow, bounce, rocks and attitude towards the music. That's why I always bring up musicality and groove as those two important keys in hip hop. I only saw "step by step" execution, and that wasn't quite what I was looking for in this routine. She missed that connection with the music. This may sound somehow confusing, but it's true. If she danced to "WEB" or even "Bad Blood" I wouldn't mind an exact and precise execution, but since she ended up in "Glow up", I needed more.
She has a long experience for sure. The overwater choreography is a fun choreography with catchy killing parts that's meant for idol performers, not dancers. I think, if given another choreography she would be able to show her skills. And to answer your question: she's a good dancer who can follow along the choreography. She has nice control, but nothing crazy about her technique.
Unrelated to the video, but do you know Hybe's new Japanese bg &team? (some members were from iland) I really want to watch some dance analysis of the main dancers, but no one knows about them lol. Anyways pls consider checking them out bc they have some promising dancers imo (also their music is rlly good) :)
Sorry for a late reply! The comment didn’t pop on my screen! Well I never finished watching the show but I have heard about them yes. I will probably check them out later yes, but not sure if there will be any analysis of them as I’m not familiar with the group.
@@psychorious no prob, just shouting the boys out bc they deserve it. Do check out their new comeback (firework) mvs and performances in your spare time bc it genuinely is a good mv and song even apart from the dancing and whatnot. I also recommend their dance practices bc their chores is really satisfying to look at :)
I glad you supports CLC Yeeun, but her forte is in rapping and singing. Not dancing. Beside, even in CLC, CLC Seungyeon was the main dancer. Still I thank you for supporting CLC Yeeun in her quest to re-redebut in a new girl group. CLC Yeeun fighting !
Hi, wanna know what average dance skills means, are there any examples / idols to help me better visualize that 😅… also "yeoreum 1 of the few with above average dance skills" then who else also above average dance skills?
ah.. I see why it might've been a little confusing. Sorry bout that. 1. Average dance skills is basically those with decent control. It's not something exceptional but it's not weak either. It's kinda like when you see someone dance and you think "oh they're not bad, but they're not the best dancer out there either". There are many idols with average dance skills but somehow I can't seem to name any😅 But think of Yuqi from G idle. We all know she can dance, but it's not extraordinary either (btw this is no intention of hate. She is my bias) 2. Well that's mainly referred to the contestants on the show, no one else. The show does not have many idols who's known for their dance skills, only Yeoreum, Nana and Sangah, and that's why I said "one of the few", cause they're not that many. Hope that cleared some confusion😅
Let me start by saying the complaints I have about the video have nothing to do with the order you ranked them. My biggest complaint would be that when ranking to find the top dancer you can’t just use one performance (I feel the same with vocals, that’s why when people do vocal tiers they use multiple performances). I understand not using any of their performances from their groups/solo activities, but when looking for the best dancer of the show use the other performances from the show as well. Especially since you said it’s hard for you to rank their dance skills with choreography like web and glow up, while I personally feel the those choreos are sufficient enough to judge their dance skills, its your pov so if it’s hard for you to judge then that does give other contestants a bit of an advantage. But that’s really just my main complaint, I’m not hating, or trying to be rude, nor am I mad (just want to point that out since people online always assume that).
That's understandable. Usually when I make a video about survival show, I only focus on the dance mission as it's the main focus. In general, I use multiple performances clip to decide the proper order. So yes, I see where you're coming from, and it's okay to complain.
@@psychorious And I totally understand why you chose to focus on the dance mission and I most definitely respect your ranking as well as the critiques you gave as I am a dancer myself. I just wanted to throw in my 2 cents and please don’t think of it as a complaint, I understand that’s the word I used, but that was just because I couldn’t think of a better word at the time.
Lovely rank. Cannot argue. I personally think there are 3 potential superstars in this show. Nana, Hwiseo and Yuki. Compared to everyone else they pierce through the screen and manage to steal the attention in every performance. When I make my ranks I often ask myself the question. Would they make a fool out of themselves as the fifth member of Blackpink? Those three are the only ones that get a pass. The remaining 4 of this shows final lineup will be fillers.
@@rewindlly That is exactly what I mean. None of the BP girls (except Lisa in dance) is extraordinary, yet they are BY FAR the most popular girl group ever existed. Why? Because they have a HUGE presence and charisma. At the end of the day that is what is most important to be a world artist. I only see 3 with that potential in QP. Or to take another example. There hundreds of girls in training or who are active that both sings and dances technically better than Sunmi. Maybe one of them will reach the same iconic status as Sunmi. Because Sunmi also got IT with capital I.
and what I mean by "lmao, yeeun" is that Yeeun has the best stage presence of any contestants, hands down. And I'd have to say Yeoreum is a close second.
Interesting. it's funny because Nana isn't the main dancer of woo!ah! That being Lucy... who I feel like is as good or better than Nana. So I would totally love to see you do a look into woo!ah because if you think Wooyeon's techniques are good, you should see all of them doing their song Bad Girl (which has lots of isolations... also it's a fun song and dance)
oh really?? I just looked up Wooah! and it says Nana is the main dancer, and lucy is the lead. I've been following Wooah since their debut so I have a slight idea on their dancing abilities :)
@@psychorious is main dance the best dance role you can have? Idk what the different is between main and lead. But you should react to ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-rzdlJvf0a3U.html. It's a woo!ah appreciation channel and Lucy has done dance lives like this a lot so there's a lot of Lucy covers online. Let's just say, she is literally a boy group member lol, all the other members also pop up here and there. While the attitude is more laid back, it's still an interesting look into Lucy as a dancer. Btw, did you know she was a JYP trainee (Lucy)... anyways. I could go on and on, but yeah I would love to see a woo!ah! dance perspective or something, especially since you put Wooyeon so high (and cause I really appreciate your objective opinion y'know). I was shocked. Anyways, before I ramble on. See ya
Nana is the Main Dancer, Lucy is good but nana is a beast. On some pages they describe nana as a lead dancer but it is not true, she is the main dancer without a doubt.
@@YoohDC07 I can see where you're coming from. I do think Lucy is as good or better in certain styles, especially when it comes to boy group dances. Lucy is literally a boy group member. I say this as a joke, but she was supposed to replace Woojin in Stray Kids(again... that is a joke)
