COMPLIMENTS ARE OFFERED TO LIZ, GEORGIA, CAYLA, et al ! Not just for being such great achievers in competition, in the classroom, and in the community - but also for sharing your insights, life experiences, humor, and reminding many of us oldsters of what a wonderful thing it is to be in college. No doubt, you have real impact on so many who admire accomplishment, your skills, your sportsmanship, and your families of prodigious character! PS: Georgia, since you found aircraft to be of interest, may I suggest that you try a flying lesson or two. Athletes have great motor skills. Hoopers have wide ranging situational awareness. Such things transfer well to aircraft operations. The rate of learning is faster in flying than most other endeavors because one uses all their senses, uses all the means of info acquisition in terms of: reading about the theories; watching films; experiencing the instructors demonstrations in the cockpit; then practicing each activity in flight. There is a high degree of gratification... a surprisingly rapid change of capabilities... many females are now airline and corporate pilots... and you already fly at a very high mach number! Gordon
