Cant you do the same video, but only this time camera would be facing same direction as you? Because tutorial is great but its hard to figure out what keys to play for us non-piano players :)
A piano song by a guitar player as you say, however Elton Jon had some hand in writing this one. and then that Polka part is all over homme's music, because he started with learning polka music when he was young.
Yeah elton john definitely did not have a hand in this one. He was on fairweather friends. Elton even talks about how he thought they would be doing another ballad and how refreshing it was for him that he came in to do a rock song instead.
Is this right? Im not saying is not but i ve seen other covers and they are kinda different. I insist, im not saying its wrong, just askind, because i want to learn it tye right way
ehhhh, is it note for note what he's playing? Who knows. Does it sound decent? I think so. I picked up pieces messing around one day, got lazy and looked around youtube and found most of the stuff around didn't sound right to me so I figured out there rest as best my ear could and posted this to help others. This might be enough to get you started, and you might find parts I play that you don't like and you'll work them out your way. it's just a starting point really.
Pretty sure you are dead on. Josh's style of playing guitar is always about taking something away, making the chord sound more disgruntled and off but still great all at the same time. A perfect in between that gives his songs character. Proof on this playing style here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-AJDUHq2mJx0.htmlm43s
Funny, as I'm reading your comment about his style I'm thinking about the guitar moves episode he was on, and then you end up with a link to it. Great minds i guess!
+Bailey Haddow in the left hand? Just playing octaves, maybe a 3rd thrown in here and there for fun. Again, might not be note for note what Josh plays, thats just kinda the way I play
