Queensrÿche - The Mission (Live '91) 

What a great concert that was...Detroit! WOW,....Empire, then the entire Operation Mindcrime album.....didn't get much better than that. Maybe my favorite concert I ever attended.

What more can we say? So GOOD, SO AMAZING! So much TALENT! I was at this show, the next night, in Kalamzoo, Mi. It has been nearly 20 years and still this album / videos - - Video Mindcrime & Operation Livecrime ARE STILL my favorite of all time! Even now when I watch this video I find myself sitting here HOLDING my breath! AMAZING - STILL AMAZING! - "The Ryche"! rduquet

Considering what's happening with QR now, I find it interesting to watch the body language from the live videos. Tate and DeGarmo always gravitate to each other and Wilton and Jackson don't seem to have a lot of interaction with Tate....... Same with the interviews, whether it's the 80's, 90's or even as late as 2007. You can see the connection with GT and CD.

QR at the height of their brilliance! No one will EVER come along and replace these guys and their utterly amazing songs, lyrics, melodies and musicianship! Their music still stands up over 20 years later and trumps 99.9% of today's popular music.

videos like this should have millions of views-this is why today's music gets worse day by day...

The end of this songs is the rise of Dream Theater era

There's not many live bands that can play songs with emotion like this, look at mr. DeGarmo and Tate! Amazing stuff.

Call me guilty to air guitaring, air drumming, and trying to sing anything like Geoff to this song. Thank You Queensryche for this album IT STILL KICKS ASS AT 20 YEARS!

One of the most BEAUTIFUL Bands Ever! These guys get it - the science and spirituality of music - a rare combo.....I love them!

Queensryche is incredible...I remember this tour...I went on back to back nights in Sacramento and San Francisco (had backstage passes in Sac)...amazing shows and huge electricity from the crowds...both were sold out shows...thanks for sharing.

Chris DeGarmo should collaborate with Geoff Tate again. The songs and albums after his departure are sadly missing his input. This one is f***king awesome!

Grateful for youtube, indeed. I re-live my youth seeing the groups I was/ am into. Really takes me back to my metal roots. This is genius.

How awesome. I never liked the other albums as a whole as much as this one, they really put together something so special with Mindcrime.

This album, for me, rates right up there with 2112 and Metropolis II. So Epic!

I saw this tour in Denver... Mind blowing... They performed the whole Mindcrime album.

Well this is gonna really show my age :-).. I've seen QR live 19 times starting way back in 1985 when they open for KISS! Blew KISS off the stage my opinion...Anyways then twice in 86 for R4O in which the second show they headlined!! Let me tell you that's when Geoff Tate was at his best..fucking incredible....!Then 89,91,94,97 and the list goes on..Rage for Order tour was my favorite...Two hours plus....yahoo....!

There is only one Geoff Tate and, don't get me wrong, it's better if it stays that way :P But, you got to feel unique even as a Ryche fan, believe me. If you're 15 and you're already "matured" enough to like a song like "The Mission", you, sir, are in for a good life. Go get 'em, kid. :)

KISS a great live band...no! This is the ultimate in storytelling.....pain...hope ...retribution but in part to DeGarmo

Dream Theater stole a lot from this band in Metropolis part 2. But both of them are great bands.
