Anureet Watta (They/Them) and Laaraib Ghazi ( She/Her) run a community organization called 'Forbidden Verses' which seeks to provide artists from various backgrounds an opportunity to showcase their work while politicizing conversations around art. They talk about the lack of such accessible spaces for artists from marginalised backgrounds and the importance such spaces hold for art to be truly representational of diverse communities.
Anureet Watta who is working on their third film also answers questions about making films queerly and how intersectionality within queer politics is an important conversation of the times.
