i very much did not enjoy the direction the showrunners took with this .... to be brief. im not going to harp on about it, and i'll probably stick around for El&Margo, but idk if i'll remain super active like i previously was.
@@minerva-2351 The actor Jason who plays Quinton has stated he isn't returning to the show. So the death as of right now is permanent. In his contact though it is stated that he may be brought back for flashbacks and the like, but as of the end of season 4, Quinton is dead for good in the show. If the show get's a 6th season, who knows at that point.
As if turning Q down wasn't already the BIGGEST regret of Eliot's life. I CAN'T EVEN IMAGINE how he must be feeling right now. .........Rest in peace, Q. You were so incredibly loved...and will always be.
If he got a second chance he wouldn’t run away. Q taught him how to be brave and how to love how to truly love in his own way even if it didn’t make sense. That thought helps with my grief
Yep, this confirms it, I am going to need some time away from the Magicians after that finale. It hurts too much. I still can't believe they did this to Q and to Queliot. As much as I want Q back in season 6 somehow I will be pissed because it will cheapen this moment. At the same time I just don't think it will be the Magicians without Q so I am at a loss. Too bitter to process this.
I can't believe Q is dead after giving us Queliot I was so excited and then he gets back to Alice and then this happens I am done with this show it was amazing but without him it's not gonna be the same
It feels so wrong that Q dies and right now I'm too sad to even process what this means for Elliot he must be broken hearted and we won't be able to see how he comes to terms with losing his what I believe was his first real true love for a freaking year!!!aaawwww!!!!!
what sucks is that when Q was trying his hardest to make sure Elliot made it back alive from the god monster in my head (at the time) i thought it was because that's just what he does. I completely forgot about how they lived a whole life together. Q loves Elliot so much for everything they went through. my heart hurts.
I will be back to rewatch this after my heart hurts a little less, because I just played the first ten seconds and started sobbing again BUT I'm sure it's brilliant like all of your other edits. Thanks for making this. I'll be back soon to enjoy it :)

It's an effing shame when the inspiration gets ripped away, especially by something as terrible as what happened. Just thank you for sharing your talent. I loved this one just as I have the others.
Love your edit! Almost 6 months after the finale, still heartbroken about it. I'll continue watching, for El, Margo and Julia. I guess that what bothers me the most is the lack of closure between the Queliot relationship. They created a lot expectations with it, especially with episode 4x05, a follow up of 3x05. And not letting Quentin and Eliot have at least a moment, after Eliot has been fred, and before Quentin dies ... Considering what's Eliot's biggest regret and the implication of how Quentin dies... I think they could have done it a different way. Q, you will be missed and hope you come back!
these two are so in love it actually makes me sick. they were done so dirty it was so unfair but i'll take solace in the fact they did love each other...
It broke me seeing q die and then seeing Elliot then that moment where Julia pulled off Qs move with the cards. Honestly while I like home with Julia or Alice...Elliot and Q just meshed so well and you know why he told Q no how can you potentialy hurt the one of few people you care and love for. Think Elliot suffers from a similar depression like Q that you feel like your not good enough and everything messes up.
I'm with you. This was an incredibly well done video, using the work of a bunch of great actors, fascinating scripts, and A BULLSHIT PLOT DECISION. As an LGBTQIA millennial mess who suffered from suicidal depression and anxiety, I'm really physically hurt that they made the choice to kill off the suicidal bisexual character. They knew this show toed the line between helping and hurting because it was dropping triggers every thirty seconds, and they made the choice to off the suicidal disaster bi. They could have given us a show about a genuine friendship that becomes something more; they could have given us an openly bisexual main character who never fridges their homosexual love interest; they could have given us a suicidally depressed character who actually survives the whole series. They gave us this. This wasn't a 'brave' choice on the part of the writers. this was them making a coward move, to shove him back to a heterosexual romance and then off him and let the other characters run the show. After four seasons of people telling him that getting himself killed wasn't the answer, they decided that killing him off was the answer. I'm so frustrated and disappointed, but the worst/best thing about it is that IT HAS BEEN SO GOOD. THERE HAS BEEN SO MUCH GOOD STUFF. I LOVE THIS VIDEO, AND I LOVE THIS PAIRING. You're work is spectacular and showcases all this amazing stuff between these two characters, and it just shows up this choice from the show runners as the loss to humanity that it is. All this to say: Great job. I Stan this. I stand with you. I appreciate you helping me grieve. I was genuinely blown away by the quality of all of this. Great job. amazing video. I know it feels horrible the way this happened, I'm with you. I really thought the line they walked was going to end up in a more positive message than it did, & it hurts that when you trust writers with something like this it turns out they were only using your struggles for drama. All we can do, all I can do, is try to find a way to create something positive for us in our fandom space. I'm glad you liked the video. You aren't alone

This is just heartbreaking. Tears are rolling down my face. Such a senseless plot twist - I hate what has been done to this story and can't bear to keep watching the show. There's, however, a spark of hope in me that the writers will redeem themseves and this beautiful relationship willbe continued in season 6.
