Maybe I missed it, but was there a comment on timber quality? I could use a distance shot of the tree to see its form as well as a slightly closer shot of the bark on the trunk. Rub the trunk with your hand to give an understanding of the dimensions. This professor is giving good school.
The wood value for chestnut oak is not very high--it tends to have many branches and a not-straight form. However, I have a beautiful small table made from chestnut oak and love its variable wood grain, knots, and other imperfections!
