Tried your Birthday tutorial and all works fine up to the last one where I add in the between criteria and at that point I get a data mismatch I've tried it in 2010 and 2007 any help would be very much appreciated, the video looks great so I know it works. Thanks Stephen

Hi Heather, really great video and somewhat inline with what I need to do. I need your help with my database if you so wish. In a table I have a coloumn named Expiry date, same as "Birthday", but will always expire the last day of the month and an attachment coloumn with 1 attachment for each record. The problem I have, if the expiry date is 2019.12.31, I need to send an email two months in advance on the first of that month (2019.10.01) and then again the first of the expiry month and 15 days after the expiry date, each time with the same attachment. I hope you can give me some insight as how to go about. Thanks in advance Darryl

Having started with the "Find and Calculate Today's Birthdays" and carrying on with this video I've entered all the query strings without any error messages. However, when I hit "run" I get a box asking for month, then a box asking for day and a box asking for date. I notice these didn't come up in your examples. What do I type in these boxes?

I know this went up two years ago but I keep getting an error message with the syntax of this. I'm using Access from the Office 2013 bundle... The string I am using is - Next_months_Birthday: DateSerial(Year(Date())+IIf(Format(Date()),"mmdd")>Format([Month],"00") & Format([Day],"00"),1,0),[Month],[Day]) - The error I get is ....The expression you entered contains invalid syntax, or you need to enclose your text data in quotes. What am I missing here? Thank you!!!

Hi there! I've done everything just like you, except I'm in New Zealand so my Date format is dd/mm/yyyy. So when I run my query with the between function, it only shows me some of my records (of which fit the criteria)? Please help! :( For example I have someone who's DOB is 27/04/1983, and another person's whose DOB is 4/08/1988. I've done it with adding 2 to the month, but it shows me the second person and not the first! I don't know what to do! :(

I have entered this criteria and it did not work. Here is the function I entered: NextBirthday: DateSerial(Year(Date())+IIf(Format(Date()),"mm,dd")>Format([Month],"00") & Format([Day],"00"),1,0),[Month],[Day])
