Got my pair two days ago. So good. It made a huge difference in clarity. So I don't really share the headset so no complaints about taking the lenses off, I just leave them on and have a suncover on the lenses. No cracking so far. I play population 1 and alot of beat saber. no issue of the lenses getting loose.
My lenses arrived just recently - has made a massive difference. Using the Zenni ones, and as I'm not sharing the device it's good that I can just keep them attached, so all being well I'll probably not break them like others did!
hi, i am from india , i purchased ques3 recently, i have +2.0 long sight and i wear glasses. i am not at all comfortable with glasses. zenni is the only brand available in india. ARE UR ZENNI LENS COMFORTABLE ? PLEASE SUGGEST
For anyone getting these blue light filter is not needed all the time really only recommend later in evening and you have a built in filter on the headset so its pointless to pay for it. Companies just been getting ya on the extra charge
With absolute respect, you could not be more wrong. Virtual light filters are horrible, While lense blue light filters work without butchering the image or tone the only way those virtual filters work is by a red filter as opposed to a physical anti blue reflective coating. There is no comparison, i respect your trying to save people money they dont need to spend but your not correct on this. There are also major benefits to removing blue light in general, it does degrade your eyesight always and its not just for eye strain or sleep (if thats what you want you just use the virtual filter) its not the same as blue light filters.. and blue light can have life long negative impact and agrevate many medical conditions those who use this understand why. I have damaged my eyes over the years with blue light and im not going to expose myself to anymore. There are many things you do not need that you should have the medical literature is quite clear on the harms and 8$ is nothing for a pysical coat. I use blue light coating every day, it does not put a red tone on your eyesight vr coatings here are the same deal, and it has major benefits to eye comfort strain ect. This comment does piss me off as its based on some degree of ignorance. Lots of people could significantly benefit by getting a physical coating nobody wants their vr to be red and everyone could benefit from less blue light.
Not sure about 3 weeks ago but now I think almost if not all of them have magnetic versions as well. So it boils down to the lens quality and the size of the lens, as well as the dimensions (so it doesn't protrude out towards your face a lot, or hit your nose or right below your eyebrows). If there is a side by side comparison with them mounted on (front view with backlightning and bottom-up view to compare its depth), that would be soo good/helpful.
@@dylan279112 they are holding up really well. Done took them off, and put them back on several times to clean them. No problems what so ever. I think they will hold up really well if the one using them takes good care of them.
Yeah, the lenses are amazing no more blurry image, the loss of hdr is insignificant to me, tested ac nexus didnt like it though cause doesnt look like theres enough hardware in the quest 3 to run it correctly however pcvr makes such a huge dif as well... shame no gt7 or horizon on meta but oh well, also mega amazing is watching 3k movies on... cant do that on psvr2 the image quality is not there for it
@@hsflx Thank you for your impressions. Apparently it was written honestly. I have a 3070, what kind of video card do you have? I know that Quest 3 does not require a weak video card.
Good to see your comparisons. I didn't go for the Zenni for the reasons I read about on Reddit. I bought from VR-Wave a few weeks ago, no regrets at all. Even though I'm in the UK there was a reduced shipping charge due to a sale offer so only $88 which is £71 UK money. I'd rather do that than buy from a company I don't know about and VR-Wave have had a lot of positive reviews.
Should try vr rock. It, as of writing this, has a christmas sale + a coupon i got to start @ 39 usd. Theres a magnetic attachment, like VR wave, for an extra 30. Otherwise, the normal version works just like Zenni's clip ons.
I have separate prescriptions for distance, computer and reading. My computer prescription seems to be best when wearing my glasses in my Quest 2. Are you aware of any recommendations on which prescription might be best for people like me who have more than one prescription?
Yeah, bro. I grabbed Quest 3 lenses from VR Rock as well, only 39 bucks with free shipping. and I gotta say, the quality surpassed my expectations. Super stoked I went with them.
I ordered from vr Wave recently, and it came out at $96 for my prescription and blue/ anti-glare coatings. Most likely, due to my high astigmatism. Pricey, but the fact that it was magnetic sold it for me.
