I think perhaps what really stuns people about Fran Lebowitz is that she ALWAYS says what she honestly thinks, even when she knows many people vehemently disagree and she honestly doesn't care. She's absolutely fabulous.
Despite everything, and because of everything… Her quirks etc.… I love Fran Leibowitz!! And as for Quest…This is my first time seeing him as an interviewer, and he did not disappoint. He’s just great!! Bravo to them both!
I seen several interviews with Patti Smith and she is always asked what drew her to New York and the ability for everyone to just be themselves without censure is one of the things she always mentions. She left New York for a while when her husband wanted to live in Detroit, when he died, she took her children and moved back to New York and lives there still. Patti and Fran are both creative people I admire and enjoy listening to.
I have a good friend that was 60 and refused to get a cellphone! He went on a business trip and they made him get an iphone! He Loooooovvvves it now!!! I wish she would get one!
Questlove is a very famous musician, who started with a group called The Roots. He’s currently more known for intellectual stuff like this, and being the musical accompaniment on Jimmy Fallon.
Scars said that the fans aren't confident like the players are but he has to realize Michigan has let us down over and over and over again for the past how many years
This content is replete with groundbreaking views. I read a book with like themes that shifted my perspective. "The Art of Meaningful Relationships in the 21st Century" by Leo Flint
Fran Lebowitz is the author of two books: Metropolitan Life and Social Studies. Pretend It's A City is a documentary about Lebowitz directed by Martin Scorsese
This is idea of ad placement in "art" is just so gross. Seems like the new norm in America. How grotesque. The bar is getting lower. I wonder if Fran knew this when she agreed to do the interview.
