If there was 32 tonnes on gold where he said it was, it would have been dug up almost immediately. Like all these treasure hunter series, the presenter bends the evidence to force it to meet their weird conspiracy theories. Their assertions are outright lies or distortions to sell their shows.

The whole discovery of the Ark is so tempting. Just to witness not only a priceless artifact but an artifact with huge connections to God would be truly incredible to see. This whole situation reminds me of the shroud of Turin. Evidence for it's reality is unclear but it's all about believing. The only difference is we may have to actual shroud of Turin but we just may never know if it's a fake. In conclusion however it's more important to believe regardless of how tempting it is to see. God will reveal the ark when he is ready. God bless Jim and his efforts though. I feel he may be very close.

HELLO EVERYONE THIS IS JIM BARFIELD, THE GUY IN THE VIDEO ABOVE. Thank you all for your comments and I would like to thank The History Channel for putting the information on “In Search of.” The men that filmed the segment about me and Qumran were great guys and I would like to thank all of them especially, Phil Eisen. The antiquities authorities in Israel have got a major responsibility to protect all antiquities that are found in Judea/Samaria, commonly known as the West Bank. The dreadful Oslo accords make it dangerous to retrieve valuables from that area due to the potential for “ownership disputes” and believe me, if I am correct about the treasures being at Qumran…they most definitely belong to Israel! So, leaving the treasures in the ground for the moment is the most protective thing Israel can possibly do. I don’t like it but, their strategy is sound. Besides, that is an important military location and any person attempting to dig there would be detected electronically or by the guards that roam the Qumran ruins and property constantly. It is my humble opinion that all of these items were from the first temple and yes, “King Solomon most certainly existed.” For those of you that noticed the newness of the Copper Scroll in the video, it was not intended to make you think it was the “real” copper scroll, duh. I made it in 2008 to have a prop for my presentations and to understand what was required “to make the real one.” The original is now in a museum in Ammon, Jordan. Guys, Ron Wyatt was a great guy and he made some very interesting and credible discoveries, we just disagree on the location of the Ark of the Covenant and I truly hope one of us are correct and it is found soon. In closing, I strongly believe in God and that the Bible prophecies are coming true before our eyes and, I am a total supporter of Israel. May you all be greatly blessed! I was at this Family Bible Camp but had to leave early and missed Mr. Zitting's lecture. He states in this lecture that sometime in the 1850's the Arkansas Legislature added the letter...s...to the Name Arkansa. Ansa is a French word meaning HANDLES AROUND. There is much more he shares.

Must've been some *incredibly* talented coppersmiths. That "ancient" scroll looks brand new, even newer than most pennies that are only a few years old.....

The copper scrolls are in bits and green in colour what he is carrying are not the scroll. They are in bits having been cut in half to enable them to be read, it was impossible to un- roll the scrolls due to their fragile state .

I believe Ron Wyatt’s claim is more feasible because it perfectly aligns with Old Testament and ties the old covenant with the new covenant with Jesus.

First, how old is that copper map?? Second, if the gold is there, dig to get a small sample and prove what the metal detector says, third if gold was found, check hill for a chamber that holds the treasures- use another metal detector?? Or ultrasound to find the chamber??

The Arch Of The Covenant was possibly taken away by the Egyptian Pharaoh as such objects have been discovered there. It is also possible that it was taken away to Pompeii as a similar object was discovered but badly damaged. We Muslims call it Taboot Al Sukaynah containing the holy stick of Moosa.

What????? Apparently nobody is following the sites with documentation regarding the actual resting place of the Ark of the Covenant. The Ark of the Covenant is in a safe place in Rome. It’s not what you envision however.
