Heya, loving the IEM vids too! The only thing I'm missing in these series of videos is a clear indication of which would your current "Best", be it either as a quick mention at the end or as a recommendation list in the video description (maybe covering different budgets or use cases). Cheers and keep it up!
It would be cool if you review the TRIPOWIN X HBB Olina which was just released last month. People say it has insane imaging and sound stage at $99. I feel like it's better to review newly released IEMs as they usually don't have reviews / have less reviews.
I suggest looking at the Koss KSC75. They're not an iem, but provide almost similar form factor as a clip-on headphone. A lot of people said that it has an open back sound. Hopefully you can look into them. Other than that, some other iem rec that has neutral-ish with some bass boost sound for "cheap" would be the Dunu Titan S, Seeaudio Yume Midnight, and the Tripowin Lea
i'm glad you hit the point on hearing the action around you while shooting. i felt the same miss on the IE300s. currently on KZ ZSN pros and they're better for this use case but not perfect. CCA CRA i heard is the way to go in the budget lineup. hoping to see a budget line video soon?
Your favorite iem so far was the dunu s6, a six balanced armature iem. I wonder if other BA iem's would be equally as good, for example the Moondrop S8 has eight BA drivers.
Great Video as always! Some Iems i read about would be the Fiio FH3 or FHE and the Dunu Titan s. It would be amazing if you could check them out. I really enjoy your videos!
I've tested the 7hz in fps game and they are atrocious. I'm currently using a performer5 and could not be happier with the presentation because its slight layback sound makes gaming session more comfortable while retaining the position accuracy needed to predict peeks.
have you tried the AKG k240? It's a 60USD headphone which is very neutral, with a decent sound stage. i was thinking of upgrading from it to a 560S or DT900 but I don't have enough information for comparisons lmao
Ah I'm sorry the Ie300's didn't do it for you, you think maybe if they were EQ'd they would sound better? Love the aesthetic of your videos man of course for the information but really love your into keyboards & Iems lol cheers lad.
i main valorant and will definitely will be picking up the tanchjim ola up because my astro headset is 4 years old now and the sound is terrible mixing up my right and left
Just some suggestions for low budget iem's that i heard that were good for gaming: QKZ VK4, TimmKoo 630(i think these are discontinued), KZ KSN Pro, Tin T2 and the Moondrop SSR.
Just an FYI. I live in Ireland and I wanted the sennheiser ie300 but they were €300 on Amazon. There is currently a sale till April 12th where they are €180. I bought instantly!
This is gonna be quite a specific issue but I play Valorant competitively and one consistent issue I've had is being unable to pinpoint where the spike is being planted or has been planted. So both when enemies try and plant the spike as well as when it's already down and beeping. I've tried the Hyperx cloud 2, Sennheiser pc37x and the Moondrop SSR IEM. Was wondering if there has been any headphone or IEM that would work well for this specific issue? If not I'd assume that good headphones do make this better. Might also be my ears or volume as teammates are often able to pinpoint the location despite having normal gaming headsets as well that aren't the greatest quality.
@@FreshReviewsYT How is the comfort compared to the tygr 300r or the hd560s? Those are the other two main headphones I've been considering. Main concern really is that the comfort isn't there or it simply isn't gonna fit. Especially since there is no local store that sells the headphone and I'm not too experienced with returning items and would prefer not to go that route.
if you are looking for really good sound or veteran in this hoppy none of these are worth it. 7khs bass is not complete like good dynamic driver, vocals laid back boring, treble is clear but fatiguing that's why I sold it soundstage is slight taller compared to 100$ iem. 5.5/10 Moon drop Variations : small soundstage. good imaging left to right. bass is not detailed no texture or big like good iem, vocals is clear but laid back again treble is well done here that's what make newcomers think it has big soundstage while in reality it's light in note. not worth for guy who is looking for best natural big sound 5/10
Maybe the DUNU Titan S would be a better alternative to the Moondrop Aria in the same price bracket as it should have less bloated bass with better separation. I think a look at those would be great! Or the Tin Hifi T3 Plus
Will we see a part 4? Are we going to climb the top of the mountain? I'm talking about Thieaudio Monarch MK2 The S tier of most reviewers. Such a shame about the 7hz. Was so going to buy them.. Glad I waited for your video.
@@FreshReviewsYT lol awesome. What about a cheaper tin t3 plus.. Or even more expensive.. Mest mk2, mangrid xenns up to stay in the s tier. I'm pretty sure you can sell the non wall hack iems man. Is there a big difference between the Sa6 and the blessings when just vibing with music? Worth twice the price nearly?
great vid as always! however, in your opinion, for a person who wants to compete, is it better to take a pair of IEMs, or some open headphones? I currently play with some Moondrop Aria's, and I am generally happy with it, but I intend to update them, but I don't really know which direction to go. I would be very interested to see how the Sennheiser IE600 behave in gaming, they came out very recently and almost everyone talks about it quite well.
@@severouspearous2757 i can definitely recommend IEMs for competitive purposes. Just need a good pair that works for all types of maps broad and close range. The arias do well in valorant but meh in apex. The blessing 2s would be insane for ya, and the 900 pro x or hd560s
Can you review Copplinn Alula+? This is a small boutique company that makes handmade wooden IEMs. There's not much information on the internet about their products and I wonder if they can keep up with the competition.
what are the best IEM under 50$ FOR GAMING? i tried this two intresting ... The TRUTHEAR x Crinacle and the kz zs10 pro x. I am intrested only in gaming
Nice coverage on these ones, still excited to see the rest of the line up 🤜🏽🤛🏽 You maining iem’s for apex legends at the moment? and are the blessings Better then a pair of hd560’s ✌🏽
@@FreshReviewsYT you think you’ll make the full time switch to iem’s at this stage or too early to tell? I guess it doesn’t really matter.. as long at you have the competitive advantage in game and feel comfortable I guess that’s all that matters 👍 however I get both sides of the audio battle and for me slightly favouring iem’s due to the comfort and sound signature it brings to me in game.. the myth that iem’s don’t stage and image like a headphone is completely busted, I mean sure some iem’s don’t have that massive sound stage but it’s just like some other headphones don’t stage as good as other headphones do.. you just need to find the right pair that works for the individual, then I guess it’s still up for debate haha! 😁✌🏽
Etymotics ER4SR Best 👍They got almost no bass and they have elevated upper midrange from 1.5kHz to 3.5kHz they smoke everything on your desk (gaming).. If you compare them on a frequency response graph, they got the least amount of bass and the highest upper midrange (peak at 2.7kHz 72dB) The only one competing with theER4SR is the Moondrop but the amount of bass is way to much for games and the price is insane.. I got the IE 300 and i love them for music but they are not evan close to the Etimotics in games. Greets
@@VulgrDisplay No sir.. Most foot step noises in FPS Games range in between 2000Hz-4000Hz less bass does not mean no bass. In shooter games you want less bass because there is alot going on like explosions, airplanes, trucks you name it.. all theese souds are not relevant for competitive shooters and create alot of bass, they create so much bass that they suffocate the relevant sounds like reload, windows, and also steps.
@@ursdubel3585 ah yes, this footstep sounds that are like cymbals on a drum are so prevalent in games. You are wrong, and the Google search you came up with that absurd number from is wrong as well.
@@VulgrDisplay No.. sir.. Actually more like a snare and not like a cymbal Love it.. musicians with absolutly no gaming experiance.. You need more Domination games in COD to know what i am talking about 🤣🤣🤣 Ok.. Let me put it that way: 20 players + 2 granades = 40 granades 40 granades + 1 Marshall stage speaker = deaf Who would have tought this gaming experiance could be usefull one day 🤣🤣🤣 ahhh good old days 🤣🤣🤣 No Google search needed 🤣🤣🤣
I actually haven’t tried the 6xx yet, but I would not add the arias to my wall hack list. I actually think bang for buck is insane for the arias and they’re good for valorant mostly. But the bass is pretty overpowering. Not quite as much as the issue with the ie300 though
You are baller! Your opinion is highly valuable for competitive gaming, hope you get around to other budget iem's aside from ola and aria. Olina in particular, as folks praising it for 3D imaging, but also T3+ / Final VR3000 / Titan S / T4 / SSR / Heart Mirror Personally I've tried AKG IG955 / E500/ CRA / BL03 / ER2XR / none of them are ideal. Either muddy or average clearity. I thought ER2's would be awesome but at best they are average on clarity and at worst they are tiny speakers playing from tiny hole with as flat of a soundstage as it could be.
@@FreshReviewsYT thank you! Love the videos by the way. Your knowledge and the way you explain things is … perfect dude. You actually know more about the way audio works than just “louder and quieter” 😂😂 which is refreshing.
Hey man I know you’re focused on competitive gaming but I’m looking for some iems for single player games. I’m hoping you could still give some advice between the blessing 2 and the ie 300, if I just want to be immersed in the game which would you recommend? I appreciate any help.
Hi fresh, i saw the earlier video of yours reviewing the arias which i currently use, and find that it does feel really cluttered when many things are happening at once causing me to be a little lost in game (comp val/apex). Recently i also had an issue where the left iem sounded significantly quieter than the right aide which throws me off alot. Hence im looking for a replacement, hope you can help me out
@@FreshReviewsYT test the shit out of them mate. They are a big price they have to be perfect. Be super critical. If you want I can help you test them. In cs go. Run about a bit.. Fight some bots..
Hey, loving these IEM videos. If you had to choose between the variations or blessing 2, which one would you take for both gaming and music? I play mostly apex, and listen to lots of different music genres.
Man have you used the audeze penrose? I have the same complain about them that you said about these. Meaning the ability to tell which floor they are on is kinda bad. Right to left and distance is pretty good but far as how high Or below they are is pretty bad on the penrose! Everything else is incredible though. This is all on the ps5.
I have not tried the penrose, but i did try the Hyperx version which is basically the same thing (Orbit S) and had similar issues. Not bad, but not QUITE it
@@FreshReviewsYT hyper x isn’t planar magnetic though is it? The 100mm drivers man make sounds I’ve never heard In apex at all shine like a freaking star. Like the attention to detail these pull out of characters walking up is quite insane especially if you pay attention to how you can Hear everyone’s footsteps running away or running to you during a all out firefight. I haven’t been able to pick my steel series 7P+ up since I bought these lol. So if you haven’t tried out 100mm planar magnetic drivers in a headset I sincerely hope you do soon as possible cause I would love to hear your educated, thorough opinion on them. I adjusted the eq but started with a preset from the möbius and ever since Then everything is just right. Can’t wait for your next video I share the hell out of your vids!
Try the Blon BL 03 or the Linsoul Tin Hifi T2 Pro! Audio is my favorite passion, they are not the absolute best but they are amazing budget options that punch way above their weight class
Many of headphones has burn in period (except models with only BA drivers, BA does not need it) . It takes about 50 hours on average. I hope that your Timeless can sound better after some time.
These timeless have actually been used for much longer than 50 hours. These are not my personal copy but a copy from someone who has owned these since release
