I listened to The Twelve Temples first, and was blown away. But this album I like even more. Wow, just wow, can't believe my ears, way too good. Masterpiece.
I discovered this kind of music not long ago, I don't understand how it can make me so nostalgic for an era that I didn't even live through. Thank you Quest Master
Ughhh this is really good. My dungeon synth is usually more ambient and melancholic, but this album is very close to convincing me to switch to an actual "dungeon" theme.
@Luffy D.Monkey you might be right. Soundfronts would work well, you could probably get tons of these sounds even from Dexed, which is a brilliant soft synth. But the hardware side is just so much fun. Hardware feels like I'm playing a video game, solving a puzzle creating the patches. The software stuff is amazing sounding, but there's a fun factor aspect I've been craving from dedicated hardware.
This is incredible, and so diverse! I'm currently working on an electronic minimalist album of compositions and this album evokes similar emotions. I had no idea that I was making dungeon synth of some kind 😂
7 months later and I still come back to this one all the time. Absolute masterpiece of an album. Also I started making dungeon synth on purpose and the album is nearly done! Thanks for the inspiration, Quest Master.
@@jetblackriver this comment says it's two years old, did you ever finish? If so what's it called and where can I find it? I hope I'm not coming off as invasive, I just think it's neat to stumble upon artists randomly like this.
