@@metaldad2112 Yui is 22 now and was over 18 when she quit the band and when Mikio died. Her birthday is June 1999 and Mikio died in January 218. So she is not underage now or when Mikio died. Also Yui metal was absent from the bands shows BEFORE Mikio died. Mikio's last concert was the Legend XX concert in December 2017 and Yui metal missed this show. This contradicts your entire theory. Yui metal was absent from that show and Su and Moa played as just the 2 of them (there was no replacement as there was for later shows). All the parts where Yui's vocal's would have been were just silent. This suggests it was expected she would have been present for that show when it was planned and that her absence was only confirmed too close to the show to make other arrangements. She clearly only confirmed she wasn't going to do the show too late for any replacement to step in or for some sort of backing track for her vocals to be sorted out. There was actually talk of cancelling the show but they went ahead without her when it became clear she wasn't going to be available in the very near future either. She only officially left many months later but never played any more shows. Have you ever considered the idea that Yui might have had a health issue that she wanted kept private ? What if she had depression, anxiety or an eating disorder ? She was certainly extremely skinny even in comparison to the other also tiny members. When you compare how bubbly and happy she seemed in early interviews and things compared to the last year or 2 you really tell the difference in her demeanour in many of her appearances. Life on the road and the relentless media commitments can take a toll on some people. Maybe Su and Moa don't talk about it out of respect for their friends privacy. What if the guitarist commited suicide.... It's a taboo. It makes sense that the family might not want that information made public. I'm not sure how private death certificates are in Japan and so how possible it is to keep a cause of death private so i'm just considering possibilities.
Well, that was STUPID ..... This is the best and most plausible explanation that I've heard. -------------------------------- *Speculation is; Yui had a minor back injury sometime in 2017 and tried to perform despite of it, using painkillers and a back brace. She aggravated her injury right before Legend S (probably during rehearsals) to the point not even the painkillers could help and has been in recovery ever since. The injury was probably a herniated disc* ==================Back injuries however, tend to linger and lots of people try to work/play/perform through it. That opens up the risk of aggravating the injury, thus resulting in long term damage. ---------------------------------- It is just fans noticing things which all seeming to add up and make the back injury theory make the most sense. Again, this is not official , but the most logical explanation I can think of and what info I have gathered. I have also had this same injury and know for sure, her pain. Her swollen face is most likely from the meds she took for pain and inflammation, probably prednisone . The poor thing must have been in agony. I know we all miss her, but it would be cruel and selfish for us fans to wish her back on the unforgiving stage. She could end up in a wheel chair, sucks
Which is actually very common for most bands when someone leaves for whatever reason. Their are things which Babymetal could, possibly should, talk about more, but this is actually OK.

Pretty big assumption to make that the reason they wont talk on the subject is ONLY because they have been instructed not to by their management, handlers or whoever else. Lets just think about this logically. What if the reason Yui left was due to something like an eating disorder (she looked very thin in the 2nd half of 2017 before she left). Or perhaps some sort of mental health issue. It's a private matter and Yui herself had chosen not to disclose any specific information... about the most revealing thing she said was " I am still not in perfect condition now" which vaguely suggests some sort of issue regarding her health (could be mental or physical). If there was a sensitive topic like that which you had decided not to share, how would you feel if other people who are meant to be your friends would blab about it to strangers and the world ? Now put yourself in Su and Moa's shoes. Imagine everything they've gone through with Yui. Growing up together through this incredible journey and spending so much time together. They are probably extremely close and care about each other. Their friend is going through a difficult time and the whole world wants to know what is going on but their loyalty is to their friend. They want to respect her privacy. The important thing to them is being respectful to their friend, not about satisfying other peoples curiosities.

@@paulos9900 It might of actually been the back injury that yui was speculated to have suffered when she fell off stage a couple of years back. Although there is nothing confirmed, according to fans it looked like she was wearing a back brace in shows since the fall, and in certain performance her face was also seemingly swollen, which may of resulted for steriods she was taking from the pain of the injury
What did they both expect? not ask about the departure of one of the band's charismatic members? this mystery about Yui leaving is really strange...they said she wanted to do "her things"...many years have passed, where is Yui's solo work? She simply disappeared from the scene. It's very difficult to be hidden in a modern world like the one we live in now. I always thought Su had some issue with Yui because she was so cute and charismatic that she immediately tended to draw people's attention to her. By the way, Yui forever! @@g.b1544 exactly! Yui was a favorite of many. She was the cutest. Andy Rethmeier has a channel here on YT basically about Yui. We are "under attack" there. People (or Momo fans) are really mad at us because we are keeping Yui's image alive. They want us to forget her. This is never going to happen! Check out Andy's posts in the "Community" section.

yes everyone can make a story in their heads, it's not necessary to see pictures or news or posts from fans casually watching yui on the street or somewhere to know what she's doing and if she's ok, maybe she decided to just not continue with the idol path and that's fine, i would be her decision.., it's been years and we have literally never seen any photo of Moa or Su casually walking in the street, or the places where they study (if they are), or in some building or restaurant, etc, the only photos of them are from festivals abroad and even there is one in the lobby of and hotel before the show they were gonna give in some country, but all those pictures were takedn during their activities as famous idols in which is impossible not to get noticed at least two or three times by fans, in Japan is a whole different thing, so why would we expect to know "news" about Yui if she's there. Japan respect privacy a lot.
Su is known for changing her expression quickly from smiling to a serious face no matter the question is asked to her, she does that even at the beginning of interviews after saying hi, it's a respect thing according to what i read somewhere, so she shows her respect by paying all her attention to the interviewer as he's going to speak inmediately.
Yui was an important part and always will be, but even if they are only 2 members Babymetal is trying to stand up and if you really know and support them, you will stay and if not, no hassle is necessary.

She's not missing, her privacy is being respected. An Mikio was never confirmed to have been pushed, He may of just tripped and fell or was drunk. I don't think they would lie about him being pushed if that was the case
@@keyboardsmash1231 - Yes, they would cover up if that could cause a backlash from the fans or event organizers getting sued for lack of safety measures. Japanese business culture is very harsh. It's often very hard to get information about bad stuff that happens to artists, similar to abuses happening in KPOP industry. Keep in mind that BabyMetal is "Kids Friendly" first. If something more serious happened to Yui and Mikio, they would try to avoid shocking younger fans. I honestly believe that the official version regarding Mikio's death was just a poetic way to cover up the real story, maybe he didn't fall "by accident"...
