Not everything is a conspiracy. Maybe until now they didn't have the market. Not enough Caribbean people wanting to go to Africa to justify a regularly scheduled direct flight, and not enough Africans trying to go to the Caribbean. Not enough to fill the planes which have traditionally been needed to make such a flight. Caribbean airlines is the only large airline in the region with planes (737-MAX8) that can make the trip. And the African airlines have just become more established in the last decade. Up until now, the industry has relied on the hub and spoke method to connect destination (large long range planes carry people to primary hubs, and then smaller regional planes take them to secondary destinations) but now a new generation of smaller planes like the 737MAX and Airbus NEO narrow body, and the Bombardier/Airbus A220 will are a new generation of long distance small planes that with be able to connect city pairs directly which don't have the market to justify a large plane.
That didn't make sense to me either 16 hours when they were dropping off slaves off of the coast of Spain Italy United States all these other places it did not make sense that we fly through Europe to get to Africa this is just so they can charge us more money and it keeps the European countries rich.
@@danielducranthere haven't been enough people from Africa and the Caribbean to fill the large planes needed to cross the Atlantic. Have you ever wanted to make the trip? Have you ever actually made the trip? If yes, then they need to 300 more people like you who want to make that trip every time they send a plane.
