SHWETA MAM, Thank you for this video. To be honest I am following many RU-vid channels for MBA prep. but your channel gives real knowledge and motivation to crack CAT. I usually don't comment on any channel but your channel urges me to put my thoughts. I am following your channel from August and trust me your channel content is the BEST. And one more thing, you are my inspiration mam 💯 to get into IIMs.
That's so sweet of you, Ankur! Thank you so much for the kind words and for making the exception to comment and share your feedback, truly means a lot to me. Wish you the best for your preparation journey! Feel free to reach out in case of any concerns :D

@@Shweta-Arora yes di, I gave CAT 2020 , expecting 85-90 percentile , but my dream is to get into Top 5 B-schools , so trying to do my best in XAT and IIFT . 😊
Hi Shweta, I have currently gotten shortlisted for B and C and am expecting a shortlist for A as well. I have some doubts on my Why MBA and Career goals part. Is there any way I can share it across to you and you can review it?
Shweta mam, what is the difference between time corresponding REGULAR course 21 study materials and time corresponding ADVANCED course 27 study materials? What is the extra 6 study materials? Thanks in advance...
The advance booklets are supposed to contain some higher difficulty level questions. I didn't even use them except for LR. I just didn't find them useful enough.
Shweta mam Is the interview process different for engineering and non-engineering students, I mean will the engineering student be asked more technical questions?
Thanks, Dimple. There are a lot of challenges with that at the moment. It's far easier for me to create content in this format, while the facecam videos demand a lot of editing time, which I run short of. So, between content and format, I prefer to focus on content.
@@Shweta-Arora Di its totally fine for us to get content in this format but some of us really wish to see you someday coming live on RU-vid just for chitchat or like a QnA session 🙈whenever you are FREE! 😅♥️ Waiting
Wow I'm really stumped by the wall question! But is it Bridge of Spies? Berlin wall played a major role in its story backdrop.. or is it Wall-E or Deewar?
Wow, you have so many guesses that are all correct! I wasn't really able to think of anything :P though they had the wall that led to the room of requirement in Harry Potter!
Shweta dii can you please make a video on quants time table for cat n how many hours one should give to quants Or else in how many days one should finish the complete syllabus because teachers of coaching don't teach daily so i dont want to rely on them
I've shared all this in this video - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE--LvjYfedC-c.html You can also watch this one on my daily routine - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-3jVObED2eu0.html
@@harshitahuja2808 That might not be feasible as other videos are also lined up, but you can read this article in that case - www.non-engineer.com/post/sop-writing-tips-for-iim-b Can you also let me know if this helps? I am not sure if FMS SOP would be any different from other B-schools
Preparing for cat and getting 95 percentile is ok untill you are called for the gdpi session which is a nightmare for most of us who have poor comm skills + no work ex but u r doing such a great work ma'am u r a saviour for us non engineers and i m too a bcom h student
Thank you :) If you're looking for digital marketing, then Neil Patel, Cathrin Manning, and if others then would recommend finding corresponding channels of these blogs - www.non-engineer.com/post/marketing-blogs-mba-2020
For any student who is pursuing engineering or any other course other than b.com, is it necessary to have knowledge and internships regarding the different MBA streams like HR, finance, marketing etc. Prior to the interview or she should focus on her course related things?
Hi Di, can you suggest some website or such where I can find some good HR related articles. I have access to marketing and finance articles through CL but Don't know where to find HR articles.
Hai di, I don't know if this makes any sense.. But I have this doubt please clarify di. During the lockdown, I became so much interested in knowing about North Korea because this is a mysterious country. So I've watched alot of documentaries and RU-vid videos about it. So I have got a good amount of knowledge about that mysterious country. Will this in anyway help during the interviews. Like can I mention about this in my interview?? Please reply di.
You can surely talk about why you started searching about it all of a sudden and what you have learned so far but take a note of two things: 1. You will be asked follow-up questions and hence, either learn a lot about the country or pick the aspects that you searched the most about. 2. Whichever aspects you pick, search more on the same lines about India and other neighbouring countries too. So that the common element becomes that aspect and not NK.
Hello ma'am, I have one question to ask, How to read a news paper as a B-school aspirants??? What should be our main focus as a B-school aspirants while reading it or should we read every thing?? I am preparing for IIMs Interviews and It took lot of time to read whole news paper. so please guid me.
Hii kishan You asked this question one year ago, and you are preparing for iims interview. Now i just want to know which b-school you got and hows you journey goes through. If uh get my question please answer
Hi Rohan, in my opinion the preparation remains more or less similar with just a change in the material you use to clear your concepts and attempt questions. But, point taken, will make one soon. Meanwhile, you can go through the CAT playlist on the channel and watch 4 videos: CAT 2021 8 stages, DILR strategy, QA strategy and VARC strategy. Those should help.
Hi Sohail, there was only one GD conducted by IIM-K and the topic was something like: "if you have the will to do something, you don't necessarily require physical strength". My PI experiences have been shared here - >> www.non-engineer.com/post/iim-ahmedabad-interview-experience-as-a-non-engineer >> www.non-engineer.com/post/iim-bangalore-interview-experience-as-a-non-engineer >> www.non-engineer.com/post/iim-calcutta-interview-experience-as-a-non-engineer >> www.non-engineer.com/post/new-iims-interview-experience
Hii Shweta.... When did we come to know the result of interview whether we are selected or not in interview... I mean the result is immediate or it will take some couple of days
Di please make a vedio on how to build communication skills and improve your English proficiency in both speaking as well as writing.🙏 please di ek vedio iss topic p bhi
@Non-Engineers Good evening mam !! Actually I wanted to ask I am fresher and started self study for CAT 2022 Can I mention geopolitics as my passion as I love to keep searching more and more about it on web in my free time and also can I mention habit of reading Economic times daily as a habit ?? Please reply!!
You can surely talk about Geopolitics, it would be a great discussion! You shouldn't say reading a particular newspaper is your habit. Instead, reading a particular type of news articles is your habit - that makes sense.
@@Shweta-Arora thank you mam !! I am low acad aspirant having 77/78 in 10/12 and will be enforcing what you explained in your video thanks for your reply!
@@anandsatwani6995 hey ananad I hope you are doing good so have you cleared any iim and I also have a great intrest in geo politics so would you recommend me for mentioning it , and how much you're 10 and 12th grade marks affected in selection of iims
Hello Shweta, Came across your video on the kind of profile an IIM looks for, yesterday. Loved it! Signed up immediately. If possible, could you make a video on what IIMs look for in people with work ex? I'm an engineer, 2017 pass out. Worked at Amazon.com for 2 years as an associate. Appeared for CAT this year, not expecting much, want to give it another shot in 2021. Would be really helpful if you could provide some information on the kind of profile people like me should try to build to have a chance at cracking the interviews if the exam goes well. Thank You!
Hi Sukiran, thanks a lot for the kind words! From the interactions I've had with my batch mates with work-ex, what I've seen is that their profile is mostly evaluated by their work-experience and what skills they gained on the job, how well they're aware about the happenings in their industry, so on and so forth. Everything in their interviews majorly circles around that. So, I'd suggest exploring that angle further on how your experience within Amazon can help you add value to the batch.
I have secured a 99.89 percentile.I pursuing Eng hons currently. IIM A is my dream college. But the biggest challenge i have is that there is a gap year between my 12th and college. In this gap year I had joined a BBA college, I didnt like the culture there and had also developed interest in story telling thus decided to drop and joined Ramjas in ENg hons the following year. Do you think this confusing story will do me any good?
Hello mam !! We really want to interact with you someday.... so can you please come live ( whenever you are free) ? Also, Your videos are to-the-point and very helpful.
I have been consuming your content a lot. I have a question regarding your work profile. There is no doubt that communication is pivotal for marketing and sales. Supposing that you are allotted to overlook sales of a district somewhere in South India, let's say Tamil Nadu, how will you be able to communicate with vendors and kirana stores (i presume you don't know Tamil). Basically, I want to know if you can select your state of interest post your training?
1:56 So, what was your reply...? Ma'am😅...as this part of the video came I started to think about the movies where the wall has a significant role and I think fun2shh movie and X men last stand where juggernaut smashed the walls of the building in order to catch a child in the climax scene, these would be the witty answers😇
All of them are correct and very well acceptable! I couldn't really guess anything :P My mind went blank at that moment. But, the answer they had in their mind was "the wall that led to the room of requirement in Harry Potter" :P
Didi .. my 10,12 grade is not quite impressive but I'm doing my bcom honrs and I'm working on me so hard ( 1st) so should iim or mba interview bother me or pushing trouble with my academic grades ? Are grades of 10,12 are really important please reply di
Hello mam, first of all, thank you so much for quality information about MBA, mam I have a question which make me confuse which is best option to do MBA after graduation or post-graduation and if a person does MBA after post-graduation like m.com so is it gives the person some advantage to get admission in top b school
Hi Vishal, doing or not doing a post-grad should be an interest-based choice. If you wish to explore your core field further, then go ahead for it. It doesn't give any added advantage beyond the additional skill-set/knowledge you bring to the table, given you do well during the post-grad.
Di just wanted to ask is it very difficult to cope. Up with the iimA syllabus for a person from a very different background..like me from art history...bcz it will affect the placement .
Hi di , Thanks for your content and hardwork. I wanted to ask that I have 1 year gap between 12th and by btech and after btech , I did not take job as I prepared for CAT....So will this 2 year gap hurt my chances for converting IIMs. Pls tell how can I tackle this question.
Hey, I think I replied elsewhere as well, but just to be safe - gap years won't hurt as long as they can be justified. Make sure that if you reappear for CAT, you take up some experience alongside.
Hello Di I will appear for CAT 2024. So shall I read newspapers in physical form or do you suggest me to read newspapers online in order to improve my reading ability???....or i shall do both?
So sorry I am ask this question in this video can you please help me out which book will be better for beginner who is not at all familiar with and want to build basic concepts on for DI arun Sharma ya RS Aggrawal
I have repeated 11th class because I changed my stream from science to commerce, but my academic record has fairly improved. Am I at some disadvantage? Because the year of passing 12th will be written on my CV
Not at all, a friend of mine switched from Science to Arts with a similar set of circumstances. No disadvantage at all. He made it to IIM-A in 2018-2020 batch.
Thank you di for the vdo!♥️ From where did you read the Hindu and Mint newspapers? Offline or Online?! If online then can you please share the link where we can get it for FREE?
I read the online versions, you should type "opinion" in front of hindu and mint and click on the first link that appears on Google. They are called opinion articles.
Hello di, i am computer science 2nd year student. I want to do MBA in marketing. But i am confused. I have 1 and half year to complete graduation. I don't have any mentor to guide me. There is no coaching classes in my city. Can you guide me or to tell me that i can do it or not. Is it right path? Please di
