My interpretation of “God fearing” is like loving him so much you’re afraid to disappoint Him. In the same way you fear your parents in a healthy way by not wanting to upset them. I love JP’s explanation and take on “fear” !
Yes please have him comeback for a relationship episode and get more in depth with the questions. I bought his book Outdated and it’s so good! I recommend all single and dating man or woman read it :)
This is beautiful when Jonathan talks about people in other countries having dreams of Jesus. I'm In awe because I just listened to a podcast with Girls Gone Bible and their guest speaker was Dr. Faisal Malick who grew up Muslim in Pakistan and then he was made new in Christ after having a remarkable encounter with God. Dr. Malick then mentioned how God told him that more people around the world will have dreams of Jesus. Thank you for being wonderful guys, love the podcast and this episode.
I loved the explanation on other religions! My husband's family practices from the Hindu Bagavadgita and JP explained it well. I would love a more in depth with him on how to keep close relationships with family who does not believe in Jesus ❤

I would say don’t get caught up on that too much. Focus on having a relationship with Jesus and live according to his world. Pick the church that helps you do that in the way that feels the most natural to you. There is too much division among Christianity and to me it all just seems like distraction from the devil. Stay true to Jesus and worship him in a church that suits you and speaks to you. At the end of the day, we’re all brothers and sisters in Christ
I finished reading “the awe of God” by John Bevere. Its a phenomenal book!! 100/10 recommend. I could go on and on about it of how good and sanctifying it is. Ive been encouraging all of my friends to read this. -Thats so funny, I actually read a whole book and studied Psalms 23 last year, absolutely love that chapter. Also YES love love love Philippians 4:8!! I also read outdated + Welcome to adulting in 2019/2021 thats ALSO A MUST READ!
I notice that while proving how you know what you believe is the truth when others believe they’re worshiping the truth too- he mentions other religions but doesn’t mention Judaism. Would be curious to hear how that difference and proof would go. Thanks
The Lord uses dreams for Muslims because (apparently) in their Quran it says the only way “Allah” now talks to his people is through dreams. - So Jesus uses this moment to show them who he really is.
Yes please have him talk about relationships and sex out of marriage and being single with that because I did not like how ok my parents were about how masterbation was ok when it literally destroyed me and my relationships and other harmful things in my life. 💕
