The yoruba people who lived before orunmila, ifa, ogun, sango, oramfe, etc., what was their religion? Did they worship their Creator or they worshipped some stones, rivers or trees? Personally, I don't believe in any of the orishas of yoruba because the oral traditions have no credible sources and they are full of biases. And when people asked questions or have a different views, their defenders resorts to cursing and insulting you. The story of creation that obatala created the world is a bogus claim. No book written or any facts to support the story! The Bible gave a very detailed historical account of creation. There may be other books too. Yoruba did not have alphabet until the middle of 17th century, no single book was written about their orishas. The same foreign religions they deride all the time were the ones who invented our alphabets that the traditional worshippers too use in writing anything about their orishas. They need to stop all this ranting about "esin ajoji" "foreign religions" Orunmila learned the skills of divination from his wife, according to the accounts of his worshippers. Orunmila was just a gifted person who could see visions. If tb joshua had lived in the time of sango, ogun etc, he too would have been added to the list of our orishas.

Ezekiel 47:12 states that the fruits of the trees will be food for us, and their leaves will be medicines for us. Every religion talks about herbs. I heard you clearly! My point is that people have to talk about any previous claims or beliefs or ideas that no longer hold sway because new proofs or knowledge have proved otherwise! It's up to anyone with a different opinion to come up for a rebuttal. When scientific research proved that the earth revolves around the sun, we did not keep quiet and continued to accept that the sun moved around the earth because we didn't want argument.
