Can His Excellency supply a list of books for boys' formation to be well-formed before entering the seminary? Asking as a parent of many young boys and hopefully more. More specifically what does he consider the best Latin books, best philosophy books (Bittle or Glenn or someone else)? Books for discerning priesthood, what books were used in the Minor Seminaries, etc? Thank you.

I consider the novus ordo like going to a Protestant service like one might attend for social or business reasons. I don’t actively participate and carry a pocket Rosary to pray silently. HOW can one know if a priest is real or a 🦆? If you travel a lot, there’s no time outside of work to do an in depth investigation. Just read your missal? Observe Sunday as best you can without Mass, priest, Sacraments? Back to the c-sickness fraud when I went three years without? Sundays were spent with my three dogs and a cat, a missal, and an old cassette recording of a Mass from 1985. I substituted the correct readings from the missal and made a spiritual communion.
Wonderful program Bp Sanborn and Stephen. I learned from a priest who heard confessions in Latin. When he traveled he gave his confessions in Latin. If a priest couldn't understand what he was saying he looked elsewhere until he found a real priest. A professor of Greek and Latin who attended that church gave speeches in Latin to regional Latin conventions. Didn't fully know at the time how fortunate I was to receive spiritual advice from the priest and to take 2 years of Latin from the professor.
As a traditional catholic I crave the mass. Is it wrong to attend the non traditional mass? Go to my own local parish? What do we do?! Not attend mass at all? Please give me advice. My whole life has revolved around being catholic.
Could you touch on humor and things divine? When do we know when or what has gone too far being close to blasphemy. It seems Novus ordo is often irrelevant but it seems true Catholics can cross a line too. What is that line. Thank you and God bless in advance.

Don't misunderstand, I prefer the old one, but I have a hard time arguing against friends who say we have no authority to correct Pius XII. Thanks again!
Absolutely, hindsight is 20/20. But why did the Holy Ghost allow it? Certainly He knew who Bugnini was... I love the old Holy Week, and don't like the 1955... but I guess I find it very difficult to justify second-guessing a legit Pope. The argument I get is "well, why stop there? What else do we know better than Pius XII with hindsight?"

Hello, I wonder whether you could do a session on Arianism and compare/contrast to the disgrace of the Novus Ordo religion. I think the Novus Ordo religion is way worse than the plague of Arianism because at least back then, we still had catholic popes. But it would be interesting to do a question for the rector on this topic. I recently went to Italy, and I came back depressed. The beauty of the churches and all the saints in there helped me a lot but God, please when are you going to intervene! Thank you for doing these questions for the Rector. I learned so much from His Excellency and his priests.

?? Would it be possible to explain whether 1) Catholics can in good conscience attend the SSPX Mass? 2) Is it better to attend SSPX Mass than the Novus ordo if there are no other options? God bless you for guiding us and restoring courage in us!
If the Eastern Orthodox married priest from the Balkans, fluent in English, converts and wants to join the Roman Catholic Institute. What is expected of him? And does he get to keep his Byzantine rite in Church Slavonic? And could he provide as a priest for his family? Thank you.
Such a situation is so speculative it cannot possibly be expected to have some ready-made answer. If there is such a priest he is always welcome to use the contact us form to speak more with the clergy of the Institute.

Bishop as a former soldier and now an old Catholic always went to Mass and tried to keep the Catholic Faith .My Children and Grand Children all go to Mass each week and go to Catholic Schools .My Parish had a Homosexual Priest and a Peodifile Priest and that was 65 years ago they were shifted around .Pope Benedict said that Homosexual Clergy are over sexed and should not be allowed into the Clergy and I agree with him Parents and Grand Parents don’t trust the Clergy and we have some great Priests.What is your opinion on it .We have to remove and not except Homosexual clergy.What are your thoughts
